In this audiobook, Mark DeVries explores the "revolving door" dilemma of youth ministry. Based on his own experience as a youth minister and on his work with churches in crisis, the author pinpoints problems that cause division and burnout. Then, he provides the practical tools and structures needed to lay a strong foundation for ministry - one that isn't built solely on a person. Narrated by the author, this audiobook offers a guide to creating a ministry that is sustainable.

There is so much to take in but as Mark DeVries points out, in order to develop a sustainable Youth Ministry we have to get involved in the details! I am immensely grateful for the nuggets contained in this book and pray that we not only hear the advice with great enthusiasm but that we work the process and put into action the systems necessary to develop a sustainable, thriving Youth Ministry in our churches too.
"loved it! super helpful!"
I am a brand new youth pastor, and I was scared to death. After listening to this book, I feel so much more prepared to face with God has called me to. Great resource!
"I now feel equipped to begin"
I loved listening to this audio book because of the deep, hard-earned wisdom it contained. I loved the building metaphor with its focus on foundations, tasks, processes and long-term visioning. Halfway through listening, I bought a softcover version of the book so I can review its many helpful bullet points and lists. As I begin a new phase of youth ministry I will be referring to this text as a resource for many years to come.
