"The narration is done nicely."
I enjoyed listening. The two narrators spoke with meaning. I enjoy the Bible in drama and this is similar.
Even better then I suspected I'm really enjoying it a lot better then some others I've heard
I felt this book was a good one, An insightful daily walk, It encourages the heart, cheers and assure the soul of Good in our world.
knowing the psalms and proverbs was used is good.
a voice to listen to, invite feeling and reason within the heart in the things that matter with God.
no as I needed to hear encouragement.
Well its a good way to learn more about the scriptures, but it a really great way to meditate on better things for up building and heartfelt strengthening from God in a personal way.
"Psalms and proverbs love"
Fabulous rendition! Love the tone and inflection the narrators use! Wonderful way to start my day!
"Music Background Amplifies Beauty and Truths of Psalms and Proverbs"
All of human experience is encapsulated in the Psalms and Proverbs. When our own fears devour our faith and strength, we can seek God in His Word and hear how He increases our faith and renews our strength! It helps me to stop the audio to review an insight and jot down which chapter is being read so I can look it up later. Also, I use a study Bible to understand difficult passages or strange words. (I recommend the MacArthur Study Bible). This audio presentation of the Psalms and Proverbs is exquisite! The musical background is varied and artfully woven with the meaning of the text. Also, there are multiple narrators, which enriches the listening experience.
"Bikel is best; Tabori is good but a bit "dramatic""
All in all, this is a very good recording.
Generally, I don't prefer background music, but for a recording that has it, this is good.
"Well Done. "
The only grip is that the music is too loud in parts, otherwise the book is well put together.
This is a great devotional! I have read through it 3 times and really enjoy the narrators. I especially like that one reads Psalms and the other Proverbs.
loved the Word ..but hate King James ..readers were much to stuffy, much like the KJs.
