"You can't take it with you"

A interesting revelation of Mr. Alcorn's past financial experience, that leads to a qualified personal perspective.

Helps to refocus money values and making "the main thing, the main thing."

You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead.

This is an investment reference of eternal proportions.

This is NOT a fund raiser, but a thought raiser. Don 't read this if you are looking to fluff you nest egg, it may cost you more than you bargain for.

"a MUST READ for every christian person"

As a theologian and wife a of a Bible college professor I think this book is not a book written by a man, is the word of God explained by a man. Randy reads his own book and makes it even more special since his inflexions and tones make the points more clear and penetrating. It is indeed life changing if you consider the Bible as your highest authority and you must read it with willing heart to do what the God calls you to do. It was a rough read and made me realize so many wonderful truths. This is a MUST READ, please get this book and find out how to get as much treasures in heaven as you can and hear the words "well done faithful servant".

    "Great book!"

I loved this book. It really challenged me to re-think how I handle money in light of the principles that the bible teaches. A must read for Christians in America!

    "a must read"

truly, one of the most important extra-biblical reads for the Christian- ever.
this book will inevitably change your life as it was written from deep conviction on the clear and correct teachings on these topics contained in the inerrant word of God- topics that are among the least discussed topics in the Church, despite the desperate need. get equipped, enjoy, and live a life worthy of calling compelled by the Grace of God!

    "Mostly a Great Book"
What did you love best about Money, Possessions and Eternity?

This was, by far, the best book on finances for Christians that I have read. There are some parts that I wasn't in agreement with (rewards, tithes, etc...), but overall the emphasis was on how people who have been shown so much grace should be equally giving with their time and possessions.

What was most disappointing about Randy Alcorn’s story?

The beginning has a rather large section devoted with "Rewards" which was hard to follow and seemed to take some theological leaps.

Which character – as performed by Randy Alcorn – was your favorite?

    N/A

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    N/A

    "Actually Life Changing"
    Any additional comments?

This book has significantly changed the way I will use my money. I don't feel guilted into giving, like so many sermons end up doing to you - I feel joy for giving that is quite liberating. Praise God!
Note that this is abridged - but in a good way! I later read the print book; Randy tends to repeat himself a lot, so the abridgement was the perfect size content, whereas the print book got repetitive.
