    "Tells it straight, with humour."
    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Happily would have, time permitting. This is a no-nonsense, clear and accessible teaching of Mindfulness. I haven't seen one as well written. Also it uses good humour - I was laughing along as well as nodding my head lots as this applies to me - it applies to the human condition. If anyone wants to de-stress and find some peace as well as greater control and efficiency of mind, you'll find it by reading this book. The narrator was good too. Recommended.

    "Instant Enlightenment"

    I've read so much about mindfulness, as I'm sure a lot of people have. This book nails it, it is so useful from word one. It particularly resonated with me, the examples were spot on, not wishy washy, and they were all relevant. I'm relistening to it straight away as soon as I put this full stop.

    "Everybody needs to listen to this book"
    What did you like best about this story?

    This book is needed by the world. I am no stranger to mindfulness so there was nothing new in this book that I did not already know, but it provided a nice reminder to maintain my practice, if only for a few minutes every day. If you are a complete beginner to mindfulness, this book will serve you well.

    "Interesting"

    I found this very insightful. I'm very much a victim of my own thoughts trapped within the prison of my own brain, I now realise just how much has gone wrong in my life due to my own mind causing issues that didn't exist to start with. I definitely recommend this book for people needing a better outlook in life.

    This book is straight forward and practical.
    It's like someone telling you a few home truths, it snapped me out of the rut I was stuck in and made me realise where I was going wrong.
    No spiritual airy fairness, just good advice and very manageable exercises.

    "Sounded promising.... but I didn't quite get it."
    Would you try another book written by Oli Doyle or narrated by Clare Corbett?

    Yes. Oli's book is interesting and intriguing..... maybe I need to listen again and really spend time on the exercises but from first listening I feel like I haven't quite "got" the concept of mindfulness bringing peace.


    Did Mindfulness Plain and Simple inspire you to do anything?

    I shall listen again and try to do the exercises for a while - hopefully that will make the concepts clearer.
