Take out your bible and learn all about Exodus, alongside Dr. Bill Creasy. With a PhD in English literature and substantial experience teaching, Dr. Creasy deeply probes this seminal work. While having a few good laughs, listeners will enjoy learning about the Ten Commandments, Moses' birth and life, and the building of the Tabernacle. Occasionally, some background noise distracts, but usually the sounds of the audience add to the immediacy of the lecture. Dr. Creasy looks at key themes like evil, redemption, and faith, with a warm, inquisitive tone. Listeners can certainly trust him to be both engaging and investigatory.
Join Logos Bible Study as we continue the story of redemption. As told by Dr. Bill Creasy, Israel falls into the cruel bondage of slavery in Egypt. And it is no accident: God had said to Abraham 500 years earlier that his descendants would be "enslaved and mistreated four hundred years".
Follow Dr. Creasy as we meet Moses, one of the Bible's great characters; witness amazing miracles; review the Exodus and the Ten Commandments; and discuss the building of the Tabernacle - a physical structure that enables sinful man to gain access to an infinitely holy God.

"Excellent Bible Study"
I also posted this on Amazon.com.
Dr. Creasy covers each book verse-by-verse, providing context to the material by explaining other passages in the Bible that may relate to a passage under study, with descriptions of corresponding historical events and the geography and their relationship to the passage, as well as anecdotes from his travels or study. I find it extremely helpful to study the Bible in context with geography and history.
As explained in the opening lesson on Genesis, this study starts with Genesis in the Old Testament, then moves to Matthew in the New Testament, then Exodus and Leviticus in the Old Testament, then back to Mark in the New Testament, and so on. Dr. Creasy does this because 1) if covered in weekly segments, as done in his class, it would be in year 5 before he got to Matthew, and 2) to help show the relationship between Old Testament and New Testament.
Three minor complaints with the Exodus study: 1) included in one of the lessons were a few announcements that were relevant only to the study group being taught the lesson, not other listeners, and 2) it was easy to hear cell phones ringing in the background, which is understandable with this kind of recording, but it was annoying, and 3) Dr. Creasy hastened through the final chapters that covered construction of the Tabernacle; he may cover this later, but I would have liked some greater detail here.
This is the third in the Logos Bible Study series, preceded by Matthew and followed by Leviticus.
I loved listening to the entire thing and can't wait to go through the rest of the bible with him
"Another exceptional audiobook"
Having followed these courses in bible studies, I have found their particular version to be very informative. I will be trying to purchase further books by this author.
"Great bible study"
I love his take on the bible.
It's always good to look at things from a different perspective.
"Interesting and Engaging......"
I may not agree with every single item that Dr. Creasy espouses, he is very engaging and creates a word picture.
"Bible based information"
Bill's input into the facts.
Moses conversations with God.
Bill adds factual information based on his experiences in the areas Exodus refers to.
This reading based on the NIV and Bill's expansions are eye openings to the Exodus.
"awesome bible study easy to understand"
This is great Bible study and will teach and enlighten you on the bible and. the word
"Very interesring and digestible "
It was a very good verse-by-verse trip through the book of Exodus presented in an easy to listen to style. I was able to agree with most of his presentations. As with all things, you need to think carefully about the ideas to see if they are consistent with the rest of the Bible teachings, and in most cases they were. In general I was pleased and a bit surprised at his accuracy and some of the things he pointed out. I am now listening to his presentation of Leveticus and it us also very well done (as was Genesis).
"Great series of lectures!"
I have been listening to Dr. Bill Creasy's lectures for a while now and all of them have been so amazing, interesting, and engaging. Definitely worth listening to. I am so glad God lead me to these lectures. It has been a wonderful blessing to hear them.
"Excellent Study of Exodus"
Bill Creasy does an excellent job of walking through the book of Exodus. He is engaging, identifies the highlights, and shows how Exodus is related to the rest of the Bible.
