"Break Through the Language Barrier, Expand Your Understanding"
The Amplified Bible is a Literal Equivalent translation that, by using synonyms and definitions, both explains and expands the meaning of words in the text. This unique system of translation allows the reader to more completely and clearly grasp the meaning as it was understood in the original Hebrew and Greek languages.
For example, the Greek word pisteuo, which the vast majority of versions render as "believe." That simple translation, however, hardly does justice to the many meanings contained in the Greek pisteuo: "to adhere to, cleave to; to trust to have faith in; to rely on, to depend on."

"Beautiful and most meaningful"
The Amplified version is the best version for grasping the meaning of Scripture. It expounds on the meaning of the translation of the Hebrew and Greek.
"No chapter headings"
It's too bad that there are no headings in the written chapters section. It'd be easier to find your location when searching for a particular verse
"No Chapter Headings - Can be frustrating"
You cannot navigate to a Chapter or Verse in this bible, you have to guess in which section it might be. This can be very frustrating.
Bible book names are not listed so you can choose where to play. Am using Alexa to listen so needed to know how many chapters are in the entire BIBLE! Once you find the divisions, it is great to listen to this version. Anyone else have a better way to know where the various books begin and end?
Always! You learn better when you use the extra sensory feature of sound as well as sight.
