beautiful joyful spirit
Holy Spirit -no competition !!!
The heights that rich men reach and kept were not attained by sudden flight but they , while their companions slept, were toiling onward through the night
It made me satisfied but wanting to read and reflect again and again
Real spiritual food , a feast .Recommend for any aspiring leader.
This book will become one of my life's go-tos. The chapters on the Holy Spirit, prayer, and the constant call to lay down pride and take up servanthood is like water in the desert. God has richly blessed this work :)
"One of the best I have heard"
It is easy to see why this book has sold over 800,000 copies. I will be coming back and reviewing it frequently.
"chock full of biblical wisdom and applications"
Many inspiring examples and great biblical observations and take aways. must have paper copy worthy
"Must read book for spiritual leaders"
This is an incredible book with more Godly principles than any other leadership book I've read
"J. Oswald Sanders lived a LONG time ago... But it's still relevant"
Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Sanders - Overall, it's not an "easy" listen. It was "updated" about 30 years ago, so it's work to stay engaged. Once you're past that, the content is solid - and the principles that Sanders presents are still relevant in the context of ministers and missionaries. Many of the points are helpful for a layman like me, leading in a corporate environment. Glad I listened - not sure if there's anyone that I would recommend this.
Excellent book for every leader! A constant reminder that we should serve (lead) from the perspective and understanding that we are servants and slaves to the gospel. A must read.
I've listened to this book 10 or 15 times already with an audio from another company. Bought the audible.com version so I could use the Android application on my phone to take notes.
Most definitely one of the best Christian leadership books I've ever read.
I cut my teeth as a baby Christian on My Utmost for His Highest.
So glad to have come across this writing.
I like the narrator's voice as well
