"Decent review but I should have bought the book."
You lose a lot of the anecdotes and lessons from these types of summaries.
I bought this by mistake...I thought I was buying the real book.
The summary was performed well and had some great insights - but the point of books like this is to tell interesting stories and to learn as the author crafts lessons into the stories.
The point form of this is the equivalent of cramming for a college test... Not something to "enjoy" but more something to listen to so you can pretend you read it.
A quick listen if you want just a summary of Sapiens. It was enough to make me want to read the full book. I think the narrator is a robot. The intonation, cadence, and some of the pronunciation made it difficult to listen to.
"Rich history of civilization"
This book is incredibly detailed with examples of tactics civilizations in the past used to understand and control humans. Excellent read.
