Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale defend the absolute claims of Christ against modern belief in the "secular gods" of atheism, scientism, relativism, and more.
The rise of these secular gods presents the most serious challenge to the absolute claims of Christ since the founding of Christianity itself. The Christian worldview has not only been devalued and dismissed by modern culture, but its believers are openly ridiculed as irrelevant. In Jesus Among Secular Gods, Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale challenge the popular "isms" of the day, skillfully pointing out the fallacies in their claims and presenting compelling evidence for revealed absolute truth as found in Jesus. This book is fresh, insightful, and important, and faces head on today's most urgent challenges to Christian faith. It will help seekers to explore the claims of Christ and will provide Christians with the knowledge to articulate why they believe that Jesus stands tall above all other gods.

The authors skilfully illustrate the limitations of common 'isms' and carefully demonstrate the relevance of Christ in finding meaning and fulfilment in life. Eloquently read.
It's pretty heavy material, yet very inspirational. I will be listening to it more to gain a more complete understanding.
"Terrific Book that illumines the Love of God ."
This book reveals the greatness of God's love and the distinct difference of the Christian belief. Is truth dead? No not at all. He is risen and most assuredly alive.
Accessible for all and philosophically fulfilling for more read listeners. Wonderful addition to your library.
"Impactful-presented in a scholarly way"
I really enjoyed the book. At times it makes it a little difficult to stay focused because it is presented as educational arguments for the faith. They are clearly presented and I enjoyed listening to their positions. It's great to memorize some points and share what we learned with others who are questioning.
"Another great book"
This is another great book. Probably one of his best. Best read with a box of tissues.
"Affirming the truth"
I highly recommend this book to anyone, but especially if you are a "thinker". It thoroughly uncovers many of the reasons for and against God, relating the arguments to past and present contradicting and affirming arguments. it exposed me to new ways of viewing truth, and thus valuing it. It is a heavy read if you are unfamiliar with philosophical language, popular worldviews, and argumentative writing style; but we'll worth it.
"Love the truth and he will set you free"
Have thoroughly enjoyed the focus of attention on the truth that is always mixed up in this confusing world we live in today.
I will be reading this one again. I find the stories that are used to paint the pictures of their arguments very interesting and unforgettable..
"Different reader would've been nice"
Excellent book, reader was way over the top dramatic, had to listen at 1.75x speed to get through it.
