The Science and Discovery series recreates history's 4,000-year journey to better understand the world through scientific means. It is a story of vested interests and independent thinkers, experiments and theories, change and progress.

"Excellent overview of evolution"
Michael Ghiselin is the highly regarded author of "The Triumph of the Darwinian Method" and has written a very accessible and short history of evolutionary thinking. The reading is excellent and engaging, particularly the passages in which various writers, including Darwin, are quoted.
"Darwin: theory or fact?"
No, because the evidence presented is faulty.
Not at all, I'm intrigued to find the answers to the topic.
Yes, but this is not as important as the actual theories presented as fact.
Yes, a book to explain all the parts that were left out; an in-depth study of evolution and Darwin's motives for coming up with it.
Only that everything should not be accepted blindly as truth. This is not a bedtime story to help you fall asleep, put your thinking cap on.
