In the spirit of her best selling The Joy of Meditating, Salle Merrill Redfield offers seven meditations to teach you how to live in joy. Using sensory visualizations and special techniques to relax your body, these meditations take you gently down differing paths to the same end: inner peace. What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Some deeper insights, instead of the rehashing of the basic Zen -ish tenets.

What could Salle Merrill Redfield have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not sure if she could have done anything, as voice is a personal and subjective thing, and to me she was a bit too academic - almost childish in presentation.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Yes.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

There are redeeming qualities in everything, one just has to search for them. I didn't feel like searching.

    Any additional comments?

I'm sure her intentions were good. Again, more insights, better analogies, more "touching" on real experience.
