This work of speculative nonfiction combines meticulous fact-finding from historian/researcher Richard M. Dolan and forward-leaning scenarios from journalist/screenwriter Bryce Zabel on the world's most mind-bending subject. The authors predict radical changes after official acknowledgment that at least some UFOs are intelligently controlled craft from somewhere other than Earth. A.D. After Disclosure isn't afraid to make mind-blowing, specific predictions, such as: Congress will hold Watergate-style hearings and ask secret-keepers, "What did you know and when did you know it? "The first decade A.D. (After Disclosure) will be like a high-tech 1960s, spawning massive cultural and societal change. Abductees will file a class-action suit against the government for withholding critical information. All the textbooks on planet Earth - from history to science - will need an immediate review. Whether disclosure leads to social panic or ushers in a new era of unity and peace, it will undoubtedly be a game-changing event.

"A.D. by Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel is an important attempt to prepare us for what will one day be inevitable: an open understanding that we are not alone." (Edgar Mitchell, Sc.D, Apollo 14 Astronaut)

Superbly argued case for a global assessment of the whole UFO subject Explores the implications of both a breakaway society and unawakened humanity
I strongly recommend this book. There were so many topics which I hadn't ever considered, such as the wave of lawsuits that could happen and which parties could be impacted. Law enforcement... wow... I plan to listen to it again as it was that good. For me, that's rare.
"The best ufo book ever"
Please let us know when a second edition comes out, I love it very much, Thank You John.
Entertaining, it was what I expected. I think if you like UFO Material you will like the book.
I love info, an what Ifs.
I follow a lot of Richard Dolans work, so this was right up my alley. A lot of great research done in this book. enjoyed it very much.
I like how the authors made out a real life scenario. I would love to see this become reality. Hopefully will see some of this Soon. Great information. Check it out.
"Karen wants her money back"
Nothing about this book was new or worth wasting time reading.
This was a total waste of 11 hours of my life. A rehash of old, old theories. No names. No new facts. And quoting Whitney Streiber and Budd Hopkins as "experts" and right - if the aliens reveal themselves. What would people say then? Oh, my.
Naming names - even one name. A few times during the book they tried to lead off into fictional what if scenerios that could happen, but they fell off very quickly and wandered into movie makers and lawsuits. Boring. Harry Turtledove would do a better job of what if.

"dull and drawn out"
Thinking it might be an interesting book that could shed some new light on the UFO phenomenon. Boy was I wrong! I was looking for some new evidence or hard fact , what I got was hours of odd speculation about cover ups and what Hollywood would do after the disclosure of alien life. Save eleven hours of your reading time and try something else.
Monotone reading certainly didn't help but there was no excitement or revelations to get excited about. To his credit he didn't nod off or laugh at some of the dumber ideas.
I really enjoyed this book, I think they got a lot right on the nose and have a good understanding of where we are as a society and how we could best get the information out. I think it is a good guide to what is probable to happen when the truth comes barreling into the light, with or without the help of the secret keepers.
"Solid, a bit redundant"
This book lays out some very important considerations about disclosure. I do think they went a little far in their step by step simulations, but it was worth the listen.
Basically, if you are into scifi or UFO literature then nothing will be new here. All the same information just condensed into one book.
Rich and detailed with incredible research. The disclosure possibilities are both daunting and vast. A heady but well understood endeavor.
