Good, but not particularly developed
Any additional comments?
Book makes no bones that it is a basic introduction to principles and that the book is not free flowing and should be taken in segments. However, still expected a bit more from it. Still a good listen for those beginning to learn basic economics.

Great introduction to economics
Very digestible as chapters were short and too the point. complicated concepts were broken down and always backed up with easy to understand examples. Has definitely boosted my interest in economics for further reading (and listening).

Brilliant
Superbly succinct and informative. Would benefit with an update regarding lessons learned (if any) from 2008 banking crisis. Great listen though, loved it.

on the right
There is no such thing as political neutrality in economics, and this book is right wing for a European like me. I found myself getting annoyed at the author's biases several times. If you are on the right yourself, you will probably enjoy it.
The writing style is very clear, and Nigel Anthony's reading is excellent. It does explain lots of concepts well, so I did learn from it.
The book was published in 2009 so the crash looms large. That does date the book. but many of the ideas are timeless and always relevant.

A lot of data and information
Not an easy listen. As somebody who was new to economics I had to concentrate and listened to quite a lot more than once but it's all in there.

Decent content ... shame about the narration
This is a decent and worthwhile introduction to key economic concepts.
While the content is good, some may however find the plummy narration - which is frequently punctuated by ridiculous attempts at American accents - annoying and off-putting.
