"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile magazine)

"Beware: bad digital audio quality"
Better audio quality. The CDs are of superior quality compared to this.
No. The quality is probably the same (noticeably worse than CD quality).
1. AUDIO QUALITY
For language learners it is very important to hear the exact pronunciation, but the audio is noticeably distorted due to poor audio encoding. Compared to the CD releases, this is of inferior quality and I would advise you not to buy it. I've calculated the bitrate and it 65 kbps or even lower, which is far too low. I wouldn't settle for anything under 96 kbps.
2. LESSONS NOT SEPARATED
All of the lessons are merged into one big file and when you start the lesson again, you need to rewind to find the end of the previous one. There are no such problems with the CD releases.
