"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile magazine)

"thorough short lesson"
wish they would speak more slowly and break down the pronunciation of words into smaller segments for better grasp of enunciation and pronunciation
"fun and easy to learn!"
I'm enjoying this lesson. it's easier to learn than I thought! well worth my time!
This seems to be a good start, although I'm not sure if it's a native Portuguese speaker narrating the dialogs. I might buy the other lessons as this first lesson is free.
I did the first unit and it was amazing! Their techniques really work! Very impressed with this, I think I'll be buying the full language course! :) The only thing I didn't like was how fast they went through it, but there was so much review that I benefited from it anyway.
Sometimes things moved along a little too quickly at this very early stage. These are 7 required words stupidly required!
