You do get a lot for one credit with this.

Okay, so sometimes the presenters are not that great in the way they explain things. The case which took the biscuit was when they were telling us to roll the r calling it a "French r" which it isn't at all because it is a trill not a uvular r like the French, whilst all the time having a native presenter Medina who doesn't actually roll her rs. There were several other cases where the explanation was so brief as to be confusing.

I dropped one star on performance for the above.

However overall I am going to give five because you get a lot of stuff for one credit, many lessons with many hours of audio and after a while the relentless ads for their web platform stop and we can concentrate on the course in hand. Moreover, the pdf that comes with it has a lot more than the audio track and is itself worth the credit.

I am aware that there isn't a big choice when it comes to Swahili courses so in the end I am grateful to Innovative for this, although for sure it could be improved.
