"Functional and fun"
It's an excellent selection of idioms that can come in handy for non-native speakers of English. The situations didn't feel far-fetched. Learners of American English can use these examples of conversational English in a wide range of different contexts.
The set can be used for self-study purposes or in the classroom.

Yes. Because it is a very good way to make use of our time, while we drive, commute on train, etc.

The content lay out, how chapters are made, the plot, the actors performance and the good pronunctiation.
There are some books out there but fortunately I do not need to mention as this one outnumber them

totally understandable and fluent accent. interesting to follow the stories.
the best suggestion is to upgrade the idioms and use mostly the slangs which is more popular. These idioms most are using by older people rather than young generation.
