bland narration
I thought this lacked a real zing for the mini stories.
the narration was so robotic and bland I felt like turning it off.
I only stuck with it because the actual content was quiet good.

Very general stories instead of revealing historie
Poor stories... I expected some insights but got none. These are for people who know nothing at all about history.

This podcast moves around way too much and does not really explain anything in detail. It chops and changes and this makes it hard to follow.

A bit like having someone read Wikipedia to you
Mostly quite dry retellings of standard historical events. Nothing new, and pretty uninspiring. Headings are far too frequent and break up the narrative. Sometimes the narrator seems to place emphasis on the wrong place in the sentence, as if he's reading it for the first time.
You'll probably learn a couple of things but they might not stay with you because of the uninspiring way they're presented.
