"A great review for a decade I grew up in."
The different interviews and clips used made it feel like a documentary.
Afraid I can't think of any other books to compare it with, however, I'd say it's as good as the other books in this series covering the 20th century.
Too many to choose from.
Neil Kennik's or however you spell it 1992 labor speech was hilarious.
A must-have I feel for any fans of history, and British history in particular. I'd like to thank the author of this for allowing an American like me to hear these.
The entire series of "Eyewitness" is remarkably well done. Tom Piggot Smith is superb as always and the voices from the past are sometimes chilling in their immediacy. This is a great series.
