India was home to one of the oldest, most sophisticated, and widespread civilizations of the ancient world. People always assume that the ancient people of a country resembled the present day inhabitants. In a place like India where people can have the blackest or palest of complexions which color is original to the land? Muller uses linguistic distribution, archaeology, oral tradition, ancient text translations, and art to determine who the builders of that great civilization were and what happened to them. Muller also explains how Hinduism came to have Gods of black complexion when dark skin is not looked upon positively.

"Poor Narration, Its a bit boring"
Poor Narration, Its a bit boring and the narrators pronounciation is not good at all when it comes to the names of the tribes. Sorry the book could be amazing but Audio book is pretty bad.
"Biased. Based on 19th century colonial history"
Very similar to 19th century missionary/colonial intrepretation of indian history.. Lots of BS.. The authors view is very biased. Opinions are based of 18th and early 19th century research. Spews hate on Hindus.. The man has a lot beef with Hindus. Lots of conclusions are based on religious text and not science at all.really poor
