A series of lectures on various Buddhist characteristics. Beautifully narrated, with compassion, grace and humour. If you've listened to Jack before you'll know what to expect. If you haven't then I would recommend starting with his 'Introduction to Buddhism'... Equally awesome! :-) _/\_
"A great presentation. Very helpful & Inspiring"
Helpful, Inspiring, fun
The performance is on older media but the teachings are presented with such an engaging lucidity - This is my favorite Jack Kornfield recording.
Please make this available in type 4 format. I recommend this and people can no longer access it.
"fun and helpful"
Jack Kornfield is a great story teller and teacher. He weaves helpful, profound explanations of the dharma in with modern contexts and timeless stories.
I am just beginning on the path to finding the middle way. This book is humorous at times and then like an arrow to the heart in the next moment. This book will always be on my devices so that I can listen again and find something new.
Jack is not only knowledgeable of what he teaches, but has a very soft, slow yet powerful voice.
I loved it.
