This is not a parenting manual. This is real life.
The Unmumsy Mum writes candidly about motherhood like it really is: the messy, maddening, hilarious reality; how there is no 'one size fits all' approach; and how it is sometimes absolutely fine to not know what you are doing.
The lessons she's learnt while grappling with two small boys - from birth to teething, three a.m. night feeds to toddler tantrums, soft play to toilet training - will have you roaring with laughter and taking great comfort in the fact that it's definitely not just you....

I loved the genuine feeling of love behind every story told and sheer honesty made it feel like someone was really just letting it out. I believe this is the antidote to stuff how to train your child manuals
This book had me laughing (sometimes at her anecdotes and sometimes she triggered memories of my own), crying (sometimes from laughing so much, sometimes because I could relate to what she was saying and relieved to hear that I'm not the only struggling mama) and feeling grateful for my family, but at ease to have a rant after a crappy day. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Thank you, Unmumsy Mum! Highly recommend!
Thank you for saying out loud some of my thoughts and for giving me an insight of what is yet to come!
Great audio book and I really enjoyed Sarah reading it. Highly recommended to any parents 😊
loved this book...hilariously laugh out loud funny with some lovely down to earth memories. definitely one to listen too if you are feeling low about your parenting!
funny memoir laughed a lot. I'm not a mum or even a mum to be at this day but it did make me think about what would be to come. Th r honest accounts are just brilliant and made house cleaning and car journeys interesting
A brilliantly narrated and written blog/book about the joys, highs and definite lows that come with motherhood.
Mrs Judgy Knickers!!!! We've all met one!
"So very real and lovely"
Great book from start to finish. I was laughing and nearly crying. The book makes you think and realise you're never alone in your feelings. Great for all mums and mums to be!
