"What we all should strive for"
The Fred Factor is on my must read list. This book provides insightful knowledge of customer service based on the simple Fred character. The story is basic but the thought that centers on each of the key points of the book are extremely deep. I enjoyed listening to this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who has to help motivating teams to “take care of the customer”.
This book was so uplifting and filled with fantastic wisdom about reconnecting with your own values. The main premise was remaining true to the things that are important to you, despite the conditions you are sometimes faced with - like coming into contact with challenging customers, beauracracy within your organisation, restrictive policies and procedures, and team mates who don't want to play team. If a postal worker can inspire people and deliver them amazing, personalised and touching service, I'm pretty sure I can too.
Yes I would, this book was very interesting and inspiring, if you are looking to be a better person not just in your personal life but also in your professional life, this book will help you to do that. this book provides you with examples of how others have excelled in the way they do their job and it has shown that actions towards others does make a difference.
I haven't really read or listened to any other books that have been inspirational like this before so I don't really have anything else to compare it to.
Not really sure about this because there was nothing really different about his voice, he didn't have to change it or bring in any emotion to this book. most of this book was him really reading about different experiences where people expressed the Fred Factor towards the author and towards others.
No this book did not give me any extreme reactions but it did get me to thinking about my life and about every aspect of what I do and how I do things and my interaction towards others.

Just a great read to remind us how to treat people. Although I read this from a business/customer service mindset, it's applicable to everyday life.

He conveys contagious enthusiasm.

This is a must read for anyone! Motivational and a great guide for being a good leader.
This is is a really good guide to doing and becoming better. Fred is amazing and am sure is changing alot of people. I know I am one of them.

but the narrator seemed to be forcing excitement into the book. It's a quick listen, and something that I enjoyed, but I thought the narrator seemed to be trying to put inflection in his voice a bit too much.
I really enjoyed this book. The story of Fred is pretty amazing and really challenging for myself. I would highly recommend this book to anybody. Great story about doing excellence in the ordinary.
