"Badly spoken and too short"
The speaker's voice ruined my experience of this book. He was exagerratedly low pitched to the point of distraction. He tried to have a suave non chalant vibe but it came off as disinterested and conceited. It's almost as if he felt he had better things to do than record this book. Why would anyone find this attitude trustworthy? I was skeptical the whole time. The information was pretty useful but it left me wanting way more. Overall this is more of an introduction rather than a mastery. But seriously, the voice truly ruins it. Change it to someone that sounds more charismatic and friendly and the process of listening wont be as painful for us. People who seek self-help books, want speakers that sound caring, not douchy.
"Narrators voice very distracting. Trying too hard"
Narrator's voice contrived in an attempt at sounding alpha. Breathe man! Content too basic information
". Best Alpha book"
Of the series, this one is certainly the best. Eye contact is the most important characteristic when connecting with another human and communicating.
"unique overview of eyes and evolution of"
The evolution of the eyes and how it is used in every day circumstances. From the caveman to Modern Man. From instincts of women to modern aspects. The eyes portrayed in this book are truly brain food for thought.
"Content OK, Narrator a disaster!"
There's a lot of good info here albeit a bit condescending. The author gives a ton of great info but the writing style is a bit unpolished.
The narrator however is so try hard at having a slow controlled voice that it sounds completely contrived. It's really comically bad at times and significantly lowers the overall quality of the material, unfortunately.
If you can get past these amateur quirks you will still be able to get a lot out if this.
"You really want to change your life??"
I've been on this MISSION of self improvement and WOW... gotta get this book and listen to it at least once a day so it BECOMES YOU! THATS IT BROTHER plain and simple. PERFECT PRACTICE makes PERFECTION PERMANENT! Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat!
it made a startling difference to me starting the next day. I'm not kidding.
"A nice helpful book"
Very well done I've read a similar kind of book with tricks and the approach on women but was too general and not enough explanation of why it works. This went into a lot of detail I found useful and appreciate the depth of content.
The eye exercises are also part of eastern culture and work very well in the natural development of the eyes.
"Great Reminders on eye contact"
You already know 85-90% (100% if you have psyc background) of the content. That being said, this can serve as a great and consice reminder on the importance of eye contact. i will come back to this again.
