"Worth a try"
When you are trying to quit smoking, any option is worth trying. I think the messages in this are fine, but I found Joel's voice to be rather grating after a little while. There is a version narrated by someone else, so I may give it a shot.
Overall, if you are open to trying self hypnosis, this is worth a couple bucks to give it a shot.
"Horrible for sleeping"
This was just horrible and putting 2 books together made it worse. After the narrator lulls you into a nice relaxed state, possibly even asleep, they play some music and then out of nowhere the narrator start talking again but loud and startled me awake. Once I managed to fall back asleep I was woken up buy some annoying sound that they may think is relaxing but I assure you it's not. I tried listening to this for a week and didn't sleep well all week and no, it didn't do a thing to curb my desire to smoke. What a waste of money!
