Enhance your self-awareness.
We live in a culture that does not encourage spirituality; self-awareness is easily squelched in favor of production and performance. That is why I have included practical exercises designed to boost your self-awareness, cleanse you, and help you reach your full potential.
Learn to live from your heart.
Spiritual awareness involves self-acceptance and living in the present. It requires living from the heart more than living from your head. Because this is largely counterintuitive to Western thinking, I have provided a variety of tips and activities to help you receive healing of past inner wounds and learn to live from your heart.
Learn to respect your past.
Two extremes - obsessing on the past and ignoring it - do not offer a true solution. The spiritual solution may surprise you; it involves bringing gratefulness to bear on your past experiences.

It’s quite a good book for everyone who is new to spirituality and doesn’t really know where to stat. The book discovers what spirituality is and focuses on one of its definition – it describes how spiritual people look (apparently they express a natural glow) and what can we expect from them. It choses few of components that build spirituality and uncovers a wide range of techniques how to enhance it, like self-awareness, being present, gratitude and compassion, to name a few. It also takes a reader through tools how to grow spirituality and make it easier to achieve. Quite interesting part about how to experience discomfort – but some of the practices are not recommended to try without experience practitioner!
I would consider myself to be a spiritual person, my life centres around my religion and my beliefs however I found this guide to be full of very insightful reminders on how I can enhance my spirituality. It focuses on what it means to be a spiritual person, rather than just claiming to be one because of your beliefs for example, it must be evident in action and in manifesting spiritual qualities. I will definitely be listening to this again and taking notes of all the things I want to work on, because all humans have an innate spiritual need and it can only lead to happiness and satisfaction when we fulfill that need.
If, like me, you are new to spirituality but have always been interested in discovering inner peace and enlightenment then this book is perfect for you.
I downloaded the book just because I was curious but then became fully engaged with the book at the concepts it was talking about. It gave some great advice and tips centred around how finding inner peace will help you become happier across many different aspects of your life.
I was sceptical at first but I found that the advice really works and I have definitely used spirituality to make my life more fulfilling. I would definitely recommend this book!
This book is of great help! It opens your eyes to the things you are doing wrong in life which could also be the reason why sometimes we feel like there’s no inner peace.
This book guides you on how to properly incorporate spirituality in your life, but it doesn’t just stop there! It also teaches you how to be more compassionate and loving which does a really great impact to an individual’s well-being, in my opinion.
Thanks for the eye-opener, Ace! Job well done!
Knowledge, God and nature
“Spirituality –the top 25 best techniques to become enlightened at peace” by Ace McCloud is a e-book that spirituality not only linked with religious and going to church. It is more like discover of beauty and generous life. Quote by Vine Deloria is “Religion for people who’re afraid of going to hell, spirituality for those who’ve already been there”. Interesting is a point of view that only one God exists but has a different image in different religions. You can read different religious books and compare how God is presented and what similarity He has. All religious are focused on be a good person and helping others and increase your spiritual life.
Joshua Mackey brings the joy of listening and the relax for everybody. You can listen everywhere, even in a dark room, his narration helps you to concentrate in relaxing way.
I have very valuable memory of my grandparents. Good way to come back is remind people who had great influence of your life and inspired you like grandparents, parents or friends. You can look at your family album and remind people and all good things that you are grateful for them. Like grandmother who always was keen to help, brought home made favorite food, cared of you when you had been sick. These valuable memories increase your spirituality and give your inspiration in my life.
McCloud proposes few techniques that help you to know yourself better. Good ways to practice your spirituality is helping others as volunteering, singing alone and playing instruments, writing journal. You can try write down a short story about yourself, what is your important moments. Also you can write a bad things and problems about yourself, what is inconvenience for you and what you want to improve. Active writing like your personal journal including yours goals, worries, events, book reviews, cooking recipes help develop your spirituality.
McCloud suggests not only what we should do but what we should avoid to make progress in our spiritual life. Firstly, we should avoid judging and criticize others. Judging others makes you angry, furious and build bad attitude towards people.
Upon my 2nd listening of this book, I realized that any form of negativity I may have in the moment actually reflects a resistance to the present moment - a refusal to accept the here and now (which is the only reality). Previous to this, I had thought that negativity simply is - and therefore should simply be noticed and accepted as part of the current reality, and not struggled against.
"Spiritualiy - A life Time Journey"
Spirituality; The Top 25 Best Techniques for Becoming Enlightened and at Peace is a great book. This book talks about how to become spiritual and at peace by obtaining self awareness, self acceptance, patience, surrender, gratitude and by living int the present. It explains how you can become an integral part of the Universe, and how to use the challenges in our lives to grow spiritually.
The total peace and serenity you can achieve by practicing spirituality.
Yes.Joshua Mackey does a great job narrating this book. He has such a calm and flowing voice.
I liked the examples the author used of people he had known that seemed to shine with spirituality. And the comments he used that religion was for those who don't want to go to hell, but spirituality is for those who have been to hell and back".
This is a great book for those who are looking for a way to obtain a more spiritually enlightened life. Something everyone can learn from.
"Great bok about your spirituality"
Need to figure out your spirituality? This book will help you find yourself and maybe even help you improve yourself. It is a great book to listen to with a lot of interesting information to help you find your spirituality.
"Your inner self needs some healing in spirituality"
In this world, it can be extremely difficult to find a way to feel peaceful, to have a happy life and to let everyone around you know you are a happy person. You just have to train yourself to use the techniques mentioned in this book to help you relax. It's all up to you. You can decide to function every day as if you knew your future and were looking forward to it. I like books that help you think more deeply and delve into your innermost thoughts, desires and pains. I recommend this if you are concerned about your anxiety and would like to live more peacefully.
"Learn to be More Spiritual and at Peace"
There were many common sense ways to get to peace and spirituality in this audio book and there were other ways and exercises I would have never thought of. This book has helped me calm down and realize that I am being lead to the life I am supposed to live. It has helped me go where I am being led and accept what is to come before me.
I would compare this book to another Ace McCloud Book on Forgiveness or the one on Gratitude.. Many of the techniques used to attain spiritual peace are similar to those to become a forgiving person and forgiveness is essential to being spiritual. To attain spiritual power, you must be grateful for all the things you have been given.
There were no characters because this is a non fiction book, but Mr. Mackey really sounds like he knows what he is talking about and the way he reads makes you take notice and believe.
I did not really laugh or cry while listening to the book, but I was overwhelmed with a sense of peace and contentment and the thought that "hey, I can do this". The techniques are not hard and do much to bringing you to contentment with your life.
I found the exercises, especially the affirmations, very helpful. There was much in this book that will help anyone on their journey toward becoming more spiritual. I loved the part about crystals, labyrinths and vision quests and found the whole book very interesting and valuable to me in becoming a more spiritual person.
"Great knowledge on Spirituality for everyone!"
This is a must listen to for everyone at least once in their life. It is full of so many great philosophies and ideas that it is almost impossible not to find some things that you could easily apply to your own life. I really liked the parts on forgiveness, which has always been hard for me, but I am now seeing some tangible results after using the tapping and visualization methods. Highly recommended!
Spirituality is one book that am glad to have read .It has changed my life's outlook.Joshua has articulated his points in a specific manner that's easy to understand.I have learned that been self centered has a negative impact in my life, instead I should sit back and learn to observe. The teacher in Joshua's school gave me a nice lesson to go by,she impacted positively in a girl's life who was reserved .We should not ignore the silent people in our societies but help them. This helps you become spiritualistic. As a start up to becoming spiritual, abstain from judging others and don't condemn yourself, without mercy for ourselves,we cant love the world. This quote will help me for the rest of my life and will come in handy with how I relate to others. In order to become spiritual,we have to exercise patience and as Joshua says, 'Rome wasn't built in one day'.I will recommend this book for everyone as it has insightful lessons that help us in our day to day lives
"Spirituality Techniques, Even for the Nonreligious"
I'm an atheist. I'll throw that out there. But I have friends who tell me their spirituality saved them, made them better people, made them happier, helped them get through life a little easier. And I thanked them, and I scoffed. But I decided to look into what "spirituality" actually means, and I decided to check this book out.
Self-awareness, self-acceptance, and patience - these are some of the things this book covers. It's not so much about higher power; it's more about becoming in tune with yourself and being good to yourself and others.
The self-awareness portion was probably the best part, because I think it sets up everything else that comes after it. There are even exercises in the book - free association used to learn about yourself. The author asks you to write down your thoughts and emotions and ask some important questions, and write a "short story" of your life - I really enjoyed that task, and it did increase self-awareness without feeling like much effort. I also enjoyed the discussion of how nature and culture are important to maintaining your spirit and staying positive.
This book is not about religion - it's about yourself, and how to be your best "you", and it was definitely worthwhile. Highly recommended.
"Spirituality for All"
Spirituality is a hard concept to grasp. McCloud shows why being spiritual can be useful. He explains proper exercises and how one can adopt the proper mindset. This is a great audio book for anyone!
"Explode Your Spiritual Development!"
My spirituality received a huge boost as I listened to the audio. This book explores many of the ways that spirituality can be expressed and nurtured as a part of everyday life. From enhanced awareness of self and surroundings to sustained faith that carries one through suffering, this book has exploded my spiritual horizons.
I have discovered here a powerful antidote to the quasi-religious opinion most Westerners hold that some things are sacred or spiritual, while other things are merely secular.
No! EVERYTHING is spiritual. Where better than this book to hammer that truth home?
"Discover Spirituality, and Discover One Yourself"
I would recommend "Spirituality" by Ace McCloud because it is a journey to self-awareness. As Ace states, "many people, when they hear the word spirituality, they automatically think of religion," but is so much more. There are so many ways to describe spirituality, but to me, I think it's about "smelling the roses."
The book that I would compare "Spirituality" to would be "Forgiveness." The reason I chose this book is because, as Ace mentions, "Forgiveness is the process that frees the mind of negative emotions i order to restore peace and harmony in life." Isn't that just like spirituality? When thinking of spirituality, one of the definitions that Ace gives us is, "A spiritual person might take the time to enjoy the beauty of a blooming garden..." We all seek beauty in this world.
Of course, listening to Joshua Mackey reading the words of ace McCloud, is always a pleasure. He is always so bright, cheerful, and confident.
I have to say that the story that Ace McCloud told about the older gentleman who he knew when he was young. This man had a lot of money, but he always wanted to help others. It is important to believe in yourself, no matter if it's good or bad. We are all beautiful inside. This is what I can take away from this book.
