"Almost mired in clichés, yet brilliant"
I almost quit listening to this book after the hundredth familiar motivational cliché but the curiosity and stamina of this rhino kept me going. There are some great nuggets in there, worth the read or listen. I paraphrase... Watch out for the disease of being cool - only dead animals are cool. Etc etc
The only reason I didn't give it a five star is that it's chock-full of short phrases and ideas, do this do that rather than using any sort of effective storyline.
It's good to have a different prospect in life.
The story of the book is awesome be ready for the voice and tone of the narrator its a little different the what we hear.
Scott did a great job at keeping my attention.
The book is silly but that is what I liked about it. It brought a great message across with a silly delivery. I'll be listening to this one again.
I have read this book countless times. Now I have the opportunity to STOP...DROP...and LISTEN!
First time listening.
ALL OF THEM. But mostly...ALWAYS keep CHARGING!
Thank you Scott for making this version.
"Silly, simple, and much needed."
Very simple advice given in a fun way that everyone should take the time to listen to.
"This book got me to nationals as a teenager..."
Now I come back to it for the same motivation...simple, real, fun n great! thx.
Book is to the point and touches not only on one subject of a daily life. He talks about many ways to become better.
"Excellent book. Motivating."
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The directness, the Biblical perspectives, and the metaphors used were eye opening.
"Short yet uplifting. "
good easy listen.
talks about being a beast like a rhino in the Wild. cool stuff
"Inspiring and Practical"
really motivating stuff that pushes you forward. agrees with all the best advice you've heard before. forcing me to isolate my main goal instead of going after too many at once.
too religious at times, but doesn't ruin it.
couldn't help but laugh at introducing yourself as someone that's glad to meet a fellow rhino. don't do this with women.
he says go rhino and i can't help but laugh at never go full rhino.
and when comparing cows to rhinos, i don't think he knows how rhinos really work.
other than that great book and well worth it.
