I like things different. Challenging, unconventional, thought-provoking. Everything is on a spectrum, which makes life interesting.
Yes, you have to. To get full benefit from this title requires practice and dedication. Whenever your mind drifts onto repetitive, unwanted thoughts return to the audio to practice moving the mind into the present.
It is not imperative to control the wandering mind permanently and completely, but draw back into the present moment when absorbed by worrisome, distracting thoughts. Practice of the techniques and adopting John's philosophies will help with these. Results depend on the dedication applied to freeing the mind for constructive thoughts and peace.
The exercises can be memorised to practice at any time.
The programme moves on to unnecessary worrying and how pointless this is.
Forgiveness is fine where there is restoration of trust.
"FINALLY Therapy on a Budget"
I haven't read the print version.
It was easy to understand but very effective.
Having a narrator allowed me to relax and focus on receiving the message rather than being distracted by trying to interpret the message in print. It allowed me to take advantage of more time to receive the message by the flexibility of listening instead of having to narrow it by having to set aside specific time to read. It's also nice to be able to replay sections of the book easily by bookmarking them.
I would not be able to get this level of therapy for this price in a face to face therapy session and I definitely wouldn't be able to get it in the comfort of my home on a schedule that best works for me. Being able to replay therapy sessions is helpful to reinforce areas as needed.
"thumbs up for mr. John Selby"
"life changing" if there is one word to describe his books that is the word i would choose. i would highly recommend it to everyone.
