There you are, trying to get to sleep when the narrator tells you you are lying on a wooden deck and the wood is soft. This will wake you up as you try and work out how wood can feel soft.
At one point she says forcefully "Where are you?" Woke me up again in a panic.
At at the very very end when I had been asleep for a couple of hours having grown used to the sound of a softly spoken woman's voice, a man more loudly announces the title you have just listened to. Woke me up suddenly from deeeep sleep. Pointless unforced error. Stressful night. Waste of time.
I found it easy to use, just via my phone and headphones, usually at bedtime, tho also on my commute.
I like it and have bought other books by Anna Thompson. This is something I listen to every night when I go to bed and I'm usually asleep within a couple of minutes. I have read that this method is actually a good way of learning, but I can never remember a word of what is said, but I am absolutely sure that my confidence, energy and self esteem have improved. It's like my drive to try things has increased and my inner voice which usually makes me think too much, to the point of not doing something I actually want to do, has decreased. No doubt on that :)
I haven't tried the print version, but I am really impressed with this audio, having tried many, this one is the best so far, would recommend it
The music is wonderful, very relaxing and puts you to sleep fairly quickly, with the soft voice of anna thompson in the background.
Guaranteed to get me to sleep every time, it's been a godsend getting me through a patch of stress related insomnia, I am asleep way before the end.
I always wake up far more relaxed, narration is very soothing as is the music, superb.
been going to sleep with this for a month now it's good except for the guy at the end that yells while you are asleep. I don't know why they put that in.
