These phenomenal recordings, no less relevant now than they were then, emphasize the fact that humankind is facing the same issues today as it did at the end of the last millennium. Putting modern times in the broad context of science, history, and the precarious state of our environment, Dr. Mitchell echoes the sentiment that "God did not play dice" when he/she created the universe. Dr Mitchell's voice is easy to listen to, like sinking into a bath of warm bubbles, similar to Deepak Chopra. The content covered many aspects of Noetics. Dr Mitchell imparts so much information in a statistical way that makes it easy to absorb. Certainly a book for anyone interested in sustaining our future on this planet.
"Mind expanding ideas - introspective and visionary"
Very enjoyable listening if you like to hear brilliant and humanitarian observations. Dr. Edgar Mitchell has three related lectures here - there are slight overlaps - but each lecture, and the following question and answer periods are fascinating, illuminating, and fun if you enjoy hearing what a smart person has to say about life, the Universe, evolution, and who we are.
