Imagining my hands in ice cold water and becoming numb is not pleasant at all. Then we are supposed to transition that numb feeling to our painful areas. Numb is not a positive feeling for me. I don't want the word NUMB to be embedded in my subconscious mind.
I got stressed out while imagining my hands in ice cold water and trying to feel that icy numbness in my painful areas. Therefore, I got MORE pain from the negative imagery. I was so excited to try this book since I have chronic pain.
It's a little pricy for an hour long book. Glenn's audiobooks used to be around half the price.
It was really cool but when he said numb it did not really come to me so I am just thinking oh let me try pinching myself like he said now pinch you're self on the back of you're hand and I did to see if my hand was really numb and I also bit both of my pointer fingers because that is were it is always numb and it was not at all numb so I was like why did I do that. The cool part about it was that when he said image a ice cold bucket of water and put you're hand in there my hand got really cold and my hand was all ready cold before I even did this so my hand could have getting colder because my room was all ready cold and my heat was not on yet so that could be because of my hand getting colder and my feet to. My hands and feet were getting cold before he even said anything. This was rrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy fffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Everybody should try this!
When he said to image stuff I just kept on imaging about Farm Hero Saga why I don't know why! Evebody should write something about this that you liked about it and something you doidn't like about it and if you liked every thing about it then share this with anybody who you know or anybody who you know is having pains really bad! Don't forget make somebody's day!
