Content was Ok. covered a wide range of traders in terms of experience and character. Some relevant to me, others not so. My main gripe is the narration. Clearly interviews have been recorded and then reproduced by the narrator to include giggles and exclamationary sounds that really are not necessary. Even a slight accent was perceived for the Spanish trader (or that may have been just my frustration building!).
The constant rise in inflexion following most questions was misplaced and just made the narrator sound like a siri voiceover.
Not with a similar narration style, no.
The content was constantly overshadowed by the narration. I kept thinking about it. I have read many audio books and the best narrators are the ones you dont even notice as they just "fit in" better usually.
"One of the best and most helpful book on trading"
This is one of the best books on trading that I have read. It is filled with practical helpful tips from actual traders. This book is like having a team of mentors for immediate reference. I listened to this book three times in less than one month. The narration is annoying, but well worth putting up with! Of all the books on trading I have read, I have found this most helpful due to the personal insight and stories. Millionaire Traders is like Market Wizards but for retail traders.
A good set of interviews. Nice that at the end of the interview they ask the same set of questions.
"Great book, worst narrator EVER!!!"
A market wizards like book except normal people and not hedge fund managers. Good book, wish I would have skipped the audio version and got it on Kindle. Narration was horrible.
"Narrator is horrific, runes a good book."
The narrator feels she needs to perform the different characters, even "he laughed". Really makes it difficult listen too. Only the content kept me going.
"Robotic voice narration like Siri.."
Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg do a good service for traders specially in the FX world with their materials.
I'm still wondering if it really is a real person or Apple's Siri that is doing the narration...
Yes, although the "Siri" type voicing is really bothering.
"Skipped chapters just to hurry through it. "
Narration made me not want to listen after the first 2 chapters. The story was ok, but wouldn't recommend this one.
"Great book, bad narration"
Interesting book for retail traders.
The narrator's voice is irritating though.
She is constantly laughing or smiling while interviewing the traders.
This book is essential for anyone interested in learning to trade. They tend to focus of trading currencies but a lot of the strategies can be used by anyone interested in trading.
Very good. Great viewpoints from many different angles. Interviewer and interviewees were great! I recommend to all interested in enhancing their trading skills. Thx. Carl
"Scaling in and out."
Of the various trading books this one is above average in describing scaling into or out of a trade.
