    I love a book read by the author. Listening to this feels like being coached by Pavel himself. I've been lifting weights for 15+ years and this program is making me both stronger and leaner. I never understood how awesome kettlebells are until I started this. they really are didn't and in many ways better. I highly recommend this book. Pavel has a great sense of humor and a casual writing style that I really like. He's effective, entertaining and funny.

    Pavel reached a level were he touches the delicate line between science and art. To this line I personaly calls Philosophy. Highly recommended.

    Regarding his reading, although it has great value the russian accent makes the understanding sometume difficult.

    "Simple, not easy"

    This is a detailed manual of how to get stronger. Pavel is a world leader in his field - training the world's elite special forces to be kickass warriors. I am none of these things and don't ever aim to be, but I am about to become a father and I want to be stronger for my family.

    Pavel has a direct yet approachable style. I think it really adds to the recording that he is the narrator.

    As an 8 year practitioner of daily Mysore style Ashtanga yoga (not yoga for sissies and grand mothers) I was pleasantly surprised by both the concept of a 'practice' as opposed to a work out and the idea that you do it every day.

    I also love the elegance of a practice with only 2 exercises. I listened to the whole book making detailed notes of the technical instructions - it's a lot to take in for someone who has never even held a kettle bell and last did weight training over 15 years ago.

    A great read if you put it into practice - definitely not one for the armchair warriors.

    I'm off to buy some kettle bells now.
