I bought this audiobook almost a month ago. It's got a 25 minute meditation at the end that you listen to once a day. (That's all you have to do, no rules or cutting out certain foods.) It's fantastic for relaxation, but best of all, I'm finding myself eating smaller portions and healthier food with absolutely no struggle. It just seems to come automatically. I feel better about myself and my jeans are getting looser!
I listened to this once through and everything clicked into place. It deals with the cause, not the symptom of being a few pounds over ideal weight/shape. I don't really feel hungry, just am aware when/what I need to eat, I am happy to leave food on the plate and am still satisfied, I don't weigh food, I don't weigh me, I choose better, I taste food properly, I don't miss the stuff I used to have and have no problem with my new mindset.
It's in my head, not on the plate that the real change has been made. The change was instant like flicking a switch. Susan's voice is perfect and filled with confidence. I can't believe it's so good and not a swinging watch in sight! Thank you!
hypnodiet does make a difference by making me feel full halfway through my meal. unfortunately, i still find it hard to leave food on my plate. i think this would work very well if i was on a strict diet as well, and it does reduce snacking between meals too. willpower is also needed to break all the bad habits but i did lose some pounds particularly in the first month of listening to it, but i never got to my target weight, but i was probably being unrealistic. i'm still not terribly motivated to exercise!
definitely worth a try
I tried this audiobook because of the other reviews, I found It is short and uninspiring, the author tries to talk to your subconsious - to no avail.
I did give it a serious try, one month later and having put weight on I can catagorically say it does not work.
this book really makes sense and encourages you to make good choices not a faddy diet great to feel relaxed before bed and wake up with positive vibes I just hope it lasts but enjoying it so far.
this is really relaxing, I am listening to the meditation everyday and it's nice to take that time out for myself. I am not going to weigh myself for another few weeks ( been doing this 2 weeks) so will see. I am much more in control of what I eat and unexpectedly what I drink so that is also a big plus. would defiantly recommend.
would be nice if Susan did a sleep one as I am a bad sleeper . OK. I didn't realise I had not posted this. it's been 5 weeks I gave lost 6LB so very happy, 4 more IB to go and I will be my ideal weight
Book is good as it really tries to motivate you to eat less by making visualisations of a happy and slim You. Helps if you are not heavily overweight, because for oveweight people the book only won't help. I am on my normal weight just wanting to loose 2-3kg only and it makes a difference, but still hard to resist cravings.
