"THis is an excellent Audio book"
Yes, I listen to this several times as I had a problem with a bad temper
Time to think and let go and really enjoy my life
If you have a temper.....You need to purchase this book. It really helped me.
"Helpful and concise"
This was a simple, quick list of tips and explanations of how to stop sweating the small stuff. This isn't just for argumentative people; it also details ways to deal with other argumentative people.
Highly recommended if you find yourself trapped in frequent arguments and want it to stop.
"Gain an insight into why we argue"
I found this very interesting. It teaches you to look at arguments from two perspectives. From dealing with your own tendencies to be argumentative, but also looking at the possibility that you may have to interact with people who are argumentative. You'll learn how to bite your tongue and analyse your own behaviour, and you'll also learn how best to deal with those people that wind you up and bring out the worst in you.
I thought the idea of writing down all the information when you have an argument was simple yet brilliant, so you can go over it later. I've often had an argument that seemed really important at the time, but them kind of wondered what it was all about afterwards. If I had notes I could find out, and spot patterns.
You'll learn how to avoid conflict situations, and how to deal with stress that may cause you to be more argumentative. My only complaint about this book is that it's not very long. I was gifted a copy of this book - all opinions are my own.
"Could have been a bit more detailed"
Provides great insight in to anger management and how to cope with difficult and frustrating people. However, I feel that it could have been more detailed and informative.
"Just do it!"
Just do it!
I loved all the tips on how to stop arguing. I really find it hard to detach myself from the situation. but this showed me yeah it hard, but you can do it.
Being able to work and "read" at the same time. I love listening to this books while I do my work.
To just use my words to say, hey I am overreacting and we need to just to calm down before this gets way out of hand.
Great stuff! Thank you!
