It was short, sweet and to the point. The best advice, hands down, that I have been given so far!
"More like a add than a book."
More usefull content. This seemed more like a voice(123).com commerical
Yes. He has an impressive voice.
At first it looked very believable until I tried the commersed sites, which need a high amount of payment. Investing in them, being a newbie, you won't get any profit. Most information of this book you can find by googling them for few minutes.
"Good for what I expected"
the narrator was good, and it did its job. it was exactly what I expected, which was exactly what I wanted.
"A good overview of getting started in the voiceover business"
This books gives a good overview, but that's really all that it is. There was some good info to get people going but not much detail to fill in the blanks or referrals to where you can get the details.
This book is basically a primer of sorts and you will have to read others books or take other courses to get the additional info that you may need.
"Good Direction, Good Tips, Would Like More Tho ^^"
Sure. If learning how to do VO where something they where interested in.
Its a great starting point for me. Good advice on what products, software, and other considerations will help you recored professional sounding VO at home… Tho I would love to know more… ah well it its a very good start!
Thanks for sharing your VO knowledge with us! This book has help me to get setup so I can record voiceover's for my indie game project. Now I just need to practice till I don't sound so awful! Lol!^^
