Good practical tips to use. Narration is somewhat dry, doesn't take away from the info though.
"Just the facts to get you going"
Yes for a friend that wanted to exercise and was having trouble getting started.
I would also recommend the book "Mini Habits"
"Less than engaging"
The tips given here are decent motivators. However, they are completely eclipsed by the narrator's endless droll reading-the-script style. If I gave a presentation at work like this, everyone would be texting on their cell phones, talking or falling asleep. Ugh.
"Very Well Done!"
Overall the message is clearly stated making it easy to listen to. This means that I'm inspired to learn as well as implementing these practices for my betterment.
Chock full of tips and tricks begin and maintain an exercise program. I enjoyed the practical and applicable suggestions in each section of the book. I would recommend this book for those seeking or maintaining an exercise/fitness regimen.

Martin Meadows gives clear actionable advice that can help you develop the habit of exercise in your life. Life is made from the habits we form and great habits lead to a great quality of life. Exercise is one crucial key to a great life!
If you are familiar with Martin Meadows other books you will recognize some familiar themes and that is a good thing.
"Waste of time and money"
Just another book filled with lofty ideologies. Lots of "just do this and all your problems will be solved
". Well if everyone could 'just do that' they wouldn't be buying this book. as an example there is a part of the book where he says " if you don't enjoy exercise you're doing the wrong exercise just find one that you actually like and it will be much easier." Seriously?? Did it ever occur to him that the main problem is that many people actually don't enjoy exercise in general no matter what the activity is and that's a primary obstacle to actually engaging in exercise.
This book is unrealistic and impractical for the everyday person.
Enough information here for anyone to get past their excuses and figure out how to "get 'er done." The narration was fine, good rendition of the facts and recommendations. Acceptable balance of facts, lecture and personal story. A little harsh on group classes which surprised me.
"Okay I guess "
I expect something different but overall i got some decent advice. A lot of what was being said though is pretty much self conscious. Work out to make it fun. Take care of your body by eating clean, find a workout partner etc. But still there was some information that was pretty useful.
I listened to this whole I worked out and worked. I gained a plethora of information to motivate me to stay on course. I am inspired to stay focused for more than weight loss. I found practical ways to stay active and include others in my quest for a better me.
