“Health. Energy. 2 in 1 box set” by Ace McCloud is a great set of audiobooks promoting healthy life style. The great narrator Joshua Mackay does a high standard performance with right pace, clear reading and enthusiastic voice over.
“Health” is a very complex guide about our health, well balanced diet, good exercises and very tasty recipes. McCloud shows how to properly look after our body and which diet is the best to stay active and energetic. My favourite is Mediterranean diet that contains lots of fresh fruit and veg, as well as olives oil, pastas and tasty sauces, soups like Greek lentil soups. Very valuable is also advice how to use coconut oil for cooking, prepare dressings or even use as a cosmetic. “
“Energy” contains valuable advices how to take care about your body and offers great nutrition guide. “Energy” provides you exercises that keep you energized like brisk walk, deep breathing techniques, stretching, yoga or aerobic. I recently decided that a lifestyle change was in order and bought this book to try and help me with that. It was really useful and I was able to implement most of the advice almost immediately. I particularly enjoyed the section on the Mediterranean diet as it allowed me to keep eating food I like whist staying healthy.
I would definitely recommend this book. I've found that I have more energy and am now living a much healthier, happier lifestyle.
I love these two books! You can really tell that the author not only knows what he is talking about but that he is really passionate about the subject of health. I felt really inspired by the content in both of these books, you can tell that it is coming from the voice of experience and is full of tried and tested methods to improve your health and energy levels.
There are so many theories, medications and diets out there that it gets extremely overwhelming at times however I love how these audio books centres its advice on very natural remedies for example the specific benefits of certain fruits and vegetables and is full of interesting recipes which I cannot wait to try.
I also like the fact that that this book gives you very informative and helpful information on energy boosting vitamins and supplements. The information is very objective and helps you to identify the qualities of each supplement and which one would work best for you personally. I have made so many notes listening to these two books and look forward to seeing what results from the actions I take.
I thought this book on how to improve your health and energy levels was a fascinating listen. There was a whole host of strategies and tips that were very helpful and well-explained. So many times I’ve listened to and read advice for these areas but this is by far the best that I’ve seen it explained.
Some of the best moments for me were tips to improve your diet and lifestyle in order to increase your energy. The methods described here are explained in helpful detail, while you feel excited and motivated about implementing them as you listen.
Also very impressive was the part about what vitamins and supplements you should look for. A potentially very confusing section is handled brilliantly as every item is well-explained and the positive effects described.
A very helpful and interesting listen. This is a must-have book for health-conscious people.
I am a bit of a health junkie, especially when it comes to learning about different routes to physical and mental wellbeing. It’s a vast subject and I wasn’t sure what to expect from a book that aimed to cover all aspects. As I listened to Joshua’s excellent and engaging narration, it was a pleasure just to let the content come to me, and as it unfolded I was amazed to see how much Ace had put into the audio. The book covers so much: from diet to vegetarianism, strength to stretching, prevention (of disease) to treatment, supplementation to baking muffins, and ends with a brief look at mental wellbeing. I would challenge anyone to listen to Health and *not* find some new nuggets of health instilling wisdom. Whatever aspect you are interested in you’ll be directed to links and references to guide you towards further information and help.
Energy is an interesting and motivation audio book; one to reach for when you feel depleted (or even defeated) in terms of energy and vitality. I run a thriving business from home and certainly have periods when I feel fatigued and lacking in energy, times when I fall out of bed each morning already feeling exhausted. I devoured Energy, listening more than once and taking notes, and I was surprised at the wide spread of aspects of life that are considered. It takes a panoramic view of the things that can sap our energy, as well as the solutions – some of which were new to me and all of which felt attainable. The most useful thing for me was to realise how effectively my own patterns of behaviour work *against* myself! The very things that I need to do to remain energetic and feeling vital, are the very things that go out of the window when my life gets too busy and chaotic.

The thing to remember with this book is that if you have good health you will have energy. Anything less than good health takes away from your energy stores, so good health is very important.
Joshua Mackey does a great job in this 2 set book. You wouldn't think description on healthy food and exercise would be exciting, but he makes it sound that way. I don't think anyone else could have done as good a job.
No real extreme reaction, but that is because it is a non-fiction book. It does make you think on how getting healthy and doing healthy things will increase your energy. Until you do those things there is very little chance that your energy will increase.
There are recipes for healthy meals, exercise explanations for healthy heart and body, suggestions on supplements and herbs for health and energy. It gives you a wealth of information on how to get and stay healthy and goes the extra mile by giving you ideas on things that increase energy.
"A must listen to for more health and energy!"
I have been suffering from low energy for awhile now and finally decided to do something about it! The health portion of the audio is very extensive and gave me plenty of ideas of things I could improve upon. I started drinking a lot more water and managed to cut the caffeine out of my life. The withdrawal was pretty bad for a week, but I feel awesome now that I no longer rely on caffeine for energy! Another change I made is just a short walk every day and cutting out the junk food for lean meats and fruits and vegetables. The energy section was great as well and I really liked the focus formula and gotu kola supplements recommended and the recipes for high energy foods are really good! If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and are willing to put in a bit of effort, this audio will for sure guide you in the right direction. Highly recommended!
"Practical Health Advice"
I found this double book a good source for encouragement and information for my overall health. I am already benefiting from some of the energy-building tips. The health book provides a big-picture view of what factors enhance - and which detract from - overall health. I especially appreciated the instruction for starting off my day right with a regular wake-up routine; it helps prime my body, mind, and spirit to face the day. I forgot that some rituals are actually worth repeating regularly, as an anchor for the rest of the day.
I especially like the audio format. It allows me to listen to portions when I'm doing things that leave my mind free (like doing dishes, riding the bus, etc.) I highly recommend this set if you want to increase your energy and/or your overall health.

I enjoyed listening to this book and gathering different ways on how the energy can be stored and how you can produce energy by eating certain foods and having a good sleep pattern. On the health side, it was kindof similar, I mean you do need to take care of yourself and eat healthy but there are also many other things that can keep you healthy and they are stored inside this book.

I can't say enough about the Health/Energy box set. I had been feeling so low lately as though I had not energy or drive for even the simplest tasks. I learned meal strategies, which vitamins and mineral supplements would benefit me the most as well as exercises to help me stay healthy and energetic. If I could sum up Health: Energy in 3 words, they would be:
I would compare Health: Energy to Ace's other book "Ultimate Energy, Overcome Fatigue, and Health Secrets. The reason I would compare the 2 is because they are both filled with the information people need to maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercise and eating the right foods. Keep this in mind: the healthier you are, the more energy you will have, and you will not feel so tired all of the time.
Once again Joshua Mackey brings the audio version of this book alive. He sounds so excited about trying new things to better yourself, and that upbeat attitude will give everyone the confidence to try these techniques.
This book wasn't as long as some of the rest, so I was able to split it up into 2 sittings. It's hard to sit and listen to a three and a half hour book at once because one has things to do throughout the day. I believe I did one hour the fist day, and completed the rest the next.
I am going to begin taking Ace's advice on many of these topics. I have been going through major depression, and I think that by using some of the techniques that he discusses in the book, I can overcome it.
