This is something everyone should consider reading. I will be using the knowledge learned from this book. It's opened my eyes to ask more of the right questions starting from the first chapter. Enjoy
Today is Monday the 4th of July. have just started a journey of self development. Starting off with 'Think and grow rich' by Napoleon Hill.
I already know that my diet contributes to my brain function, I did not know just how much.
A wealth of information in this audio that I shall be putting into practice at once. This audio is a must for anyone interested in self-development
This book is an incredible resource for anyone interested in getting optimal performance from their body and brain.
I see this as being a user's guide to your neurology - how to upgrade your brain.

in the beginning I felt I am listing to bulletproof diet again but then I found few extra tips and materials that was good. Generally I think a book worth reading... Maybe not following it all but choosing what works for you.
I applied on a lot of dave's advices and it worked for me like magic
Really good book for anyone looking to get an edge on every aspect of their life.
Also this book really breaks down a lot of the key scientific research and theory that will help you gain a deeper understanding of the sciene behind health and wellbeing.
If you're just entering the biohacking world, you'll love it. If you're a geek (like me) that is interested in the sciene, you'll also love it.

If it's not what we eat, drink and breathe that will destroy us, it is the fungus growing in our homes and invading our clothes and possessions.
We are all doomed!
I felt a sense of hopelessness and helplessness as I delved further into this book.
Do I really want to turn my life into one long self obsession.
Is it not time to start blessing the food we eat and appreciating our surroundings?
Have a holiday and avoid this book.
"Top Notch Guide To Jumpstart Your Evolution"
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to improve their overall performance in life.
More specifically people that are already experiencing health issues such as chronic fatigue, unexplained aches and pains, brain fog, poor quality sleep, etc.
Overall this book is very well written with a ton of research put into it.
My favorite things about this book:
1. Actionable steps that are easy to implement.
2. Lists of supplements and meals to implement.
3. Playful: not to heavy on the research and not too serious to where it's offputting.
4.Cutting edge info. you probably haven't heard anywhere else. Unless you have been following the Bulletproof podcast or other health and wellness teachings.
5. Written by Dave Asprey: This man is very good at "bringing it all together." Thereby allowing you to understand the vast importance of why you should even be learning this stuff in the first place.
"Nothing like this exists, but my stuff"
My BS detector turned up to 11 while reading.
Many of the ideas are repeats of things I've heard in the past... but many ideas are new and unique ..
Combine this with the multiple "buy my stuff" requests, and i almost had to turn the book off.
Stay wary, friends.

"very extensive but impractical"
I thought the scientific facts in this book were very interesting the only thing is many of the brain hacks asprey suggest are either expensive or impractical but none the less well thought out and backed up. he does try and sell a lot of his own products but also suggest alternatives. at the very least this book has given me the determination to learn more about my brain.
"Cutting edge information for the brain"
I loved this book because it's a collaboration of research and personal trial from a non-doctor who found profound methods to increase human performance at any desired level.
"Fake research , pretty quacky"
Real research. The studies he cites are all very old and poorly done. Some only sample 2 people. Some of the studies don't even support the conclusions he pulls from them.
Yes. I know many of these are sales pitches and this is no different.
Overall it's "science" based on nothing more than anecdotes. The "research" is dubious at best, dangerous at worst. Conveniently his company sells what he claims are the best foods. Many people have even tested his coffee for mold toxins and his coffee doesn't fare better than many other brands. Associates with Mercola who the science world knows is a quack. Just a sales pitch that uses a lot of vagueness and buzzwords. He hasn't "hacked" anything but my wallet.
"As good as the Bulletproof Diet"
Yes, the book is full of great info for general health that is applicable to everyone
The Bulletproof Diet (same author), but this book adds more detail to the mitochondrial health which is an emerging trend.
Also, Minding my Mitochondria (by Terry Wahls) as the books are similar in topic, but this book takes a new approach and includes a more advanced and actionable plan.
The author (Dave) did an even better job of providing the important info without fluff that is actionable than in the Bulletproof Diet.

No it's not that type of book
The Bulletproof Diet changed my life, and I eagerly awaited the release of this book. Headstrong did not disappoint, and is a great stand-alone read or compliment to the Bulletproof Diet (or any other auto-immune / paleo / ketogenic themed diet book). I am most impressed at how refined this book is at delivering the most important information in a way that makes it very simple and actionable to improve mitochondrial, cognitive, and therefore overall health.
GET THIS BOOK! .. It's that simple.
