Agelessness is all about vitality, the creative force that gives birth to new life. Vitality is our natural state. Taking all the right supplements and pills or getting the right procedure done isn't the prescription for antiaging. It's ageless living that brings back a sense of vibrancy and youthfulness. Though we talk about wanting to age gracefully, the truth is that when it comes to getting older, we're programmed to dread an inevitable decline: in our health, our looks, our sexual relationships, even the pleasure we take in living life. But as Christiane Northrup, MD, shows us in this profoundly empowering program, we have it in us to make growing older an entirely different experience for both our bodies and our souls. Blending personal stories and practical exercises with the latest research on health and aging, Dr. Northrup lays out the principles of ageless living, from rejecting processed foods to releasing stuck emotions, from embracing our sensuality to connecting deeply with our divine source.
Explaining that the state of our health is dictated far more by our beliefs than by our biology, she works to shift our perceptions about getting older and show us what we are entitled to expect from our later years--no matter what our culture tries to teach us to the contrary--including:
And she brings it all together in a 14-day ageless goddess program, offering tools and inspiration for creating a healthful and soulful new way of being at any stage of life.

I can't get enough of DrC her wise words and enlightening approach to being a woman :) I have shared this book with so many friends and they too are raving fans!
"30-something, loved this book!"
This book is in my top 3 of health books I have listened to on Audible. It was informative on so many levels and I enjoyed it so much that I have recommended it to a dozen or so women of different ages.
I went into this book looking for health advice, but came out with so much more. I'd have to say her discussion on dealing with past emotions was very helpful to me.
No characters except myself. So, I guess I am my favorite character.
YES. I listened to it everyday during my commute until it was done. Very interesting, very easy to understand, well narrated, and I just loved it.
I read the other reviews on this book and noticed a few folks taking issue with her mentioning her love for dancing the tango at various points in the book. I also noticed people complaining that you'd need to be living a life of leisure into practice. BS. That is NOT true. I work a full-time job and I commute FOUR HOURS A DAY in Los Angeles traffic AND I am a single parent to a teen living on a non-profit museum salary! I never once felt like her suggestions were out of my reach. She never says, "You must do Pilates, dance tango, work from home, blah blah blah, in order to be healthy." She simple gives ideas on things that have brought her joy, happiness, and health in order to inspire to reader to find their own way. At her suggestion to try new things, I enrolled in a Pilates class because it was something that I have always wanted to do and even though my first lesson had me feeling like a fat Mr. Bean tangled in an octopus, I kept thinking about how encouraging her words were as I stuck it out! Her food suggestions are ON POINT and totally back by current nutritional science and I loved her writing style and "voice." Loved this book. ALL females should read it. Seriously.
"Absolutely the best book I have ever read!"
I bought the Audible version and knew fairly quickly that i had to have the print version as well. This book is a treasure trove of cutting edge information on staying healthy and fit and loving life, regardless of age. I love the wealth of resources that Dr. Northrup puts at our fingertips. I have already purchased two of the books she recommends and I am finding then to be all that she said that they are. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr Northrup , for this uplifting and empowering book! I love it and am recommending it to every woman I know!
yes, it is filled with informative, inspirational, and empowering content.
As a over 55 woman, I was able to relate to most of the situations addressed.
To listen to the author narrate was beneficial because it gave more impact to the truth of what she had written. It is a lengthy book even in audible form. (I've listened through two times and then certain chapters 3 or 4 times.) I will be buying the hardcopy to go back and listen again in order to highlight and reinforce the most meaningful passages.
She definitly has "turned on the lightbulb" to take control of my life to have fun with things I want to try, not always following what others expect of me or what they want to do. So at the end of the day, I can now cross things off of my list for myselfs' sake of joy, not the responsibility or obligation list. MY very own singular, personal, bucket list. Little and big. ie: I took an online course to get a license for a particular profession so now I don't have to punch a time clock or sit in a cublicle for employment or work with my husband!!!! this is hugely empowering... And I went to a Jareds jewelry store. Stupid yes, but always wanted to see what those great ads were about. No, I missed nothing. Will not go back to one. Yes, the book is worth the audible and hardcopy.
"Extremely informative book"
I learned so much from it and plan on puttin into practice the many recommendations. very inspired. highly recommend!
This is what every woman should read / hear no matter what faith she practices. I learned so much. I played chapters and large sections over and over again. Thank you Dr. Northrup 🌷
Everything you ever wanted to know and more. Not only western medicine, eastern medicine, astrology, but God, spirit, etc. there is a whole lot of work we need to do to achieve ageless status and a whole lot of books to read and tests and supplements and affirmations and EFT and diets and.....I find myself wondering how anyone would find the time. Still, if you are able to get just a fraction of what she suggests and apply it, it's worth the time.
I. would rather have bought the book than the audible version.
Amazing information! It's so positive and uplifting. This is truly what womanhood is about. Every woman needs to read this book; young and "old."
"Shoot me now!"
Contemplating everything this book says to do to slow the aging made me exhausted. The plethora of suggestions were all very worthy, but you would literally have to devote all day, every day to accomplishing them. In some ways, it felt like a prescription for the idle rich. And, Dr. Northrup's passion for tango was mentioned so many times, I had a good mind to dance my red editor's pen straight through those sections.
"Goddesses Never Age"
Great book. Lots of helpful reminders and new information as well. I will listen to it several times to get it ingrained in my brain!
"People actually believe this hokum?"
I was recommended this book by a friend but wouldn't recommend it myself. It's full of claims that can be backed up with scientific evidence let alone clinical trials. Some of the ideas are fine, eat well, meditate, exercise, don't let your age define you but some are loony. I'm pretty sure you can get the good information from more credible sources and avoid the suspect stuff.
