Easy Everyday Mindfulness contains five easy-to-follow different mindfulness exercises that can be followed at any time during the day. Follow one exercise a day in rotation to work on different techniques to help increase mindfulness.

Mindfulness is something that everyone is capable of doing. Developing mindfulness is easy and with a little practice, it will filter into day-to-day activities. To develop mindfulness all that is required is a little attention. Through mindfulness, it is possible to become completely present and engage fully in current activities, which brings so many benefits.

Each session is approximately 15 minutes in duration and should be followed while seated in a firm chair with a straight spine and your feet firmly on the floor. Each session has been devised to be followed from start to finish without interruption. We suggest you set aside more than enough time for your session and find a warm, quiet area away from external distractions.

    "Mindfulness meditations with a bit of a difference"
    What did you like most about Easy Everyday Mindfulness?

    It is unusual to find mindfulness meditations that use gentle background music and also encourage you to breathe out through your mouth - I found both techniques helpful in establishing focus. I also liked the length of the sessions - 15 minutes per session is ideal, not too long, not too short, and can be fitted in around other things.


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Easy Everyday Mindfulness?

    I enjoyed the last session which encouraged the user to count up to 5 mindfully - it was difficult to do as once you are aware that you have to put all other thoughts aside, the automatic temptation was to focus on those thoughts.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    I liked the work around noticing and the senses in the first session.


    Any additional comments?

    These exercises are definitely worth a try - there is no complicated jargon , and the exercises are simple and can be used anywhere. The narration is pleasant to listen too. I will continue to use these sessions as part of a wider personal mindfulness programme.
