Constipation has been a real issue for my child so I thought I'd try and read up on the subject so I could help out more. This book was great as it teaches you the causes and some background info so you are in a better position to understand the prevention methods.
I found the diet section most useful. I've altered my son's diet in accordance with the advice in the book and it seems to really be working. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers with this issue.
I got this for a family member who has been dealing with this problem for a while. It was very helpful in identifying some of the underlying causes of constipation. I found it fascinating learning about the foods that act as natural laxative and other foods that should be avoided as they can impede bowel movement. A short but informative book.
“Constipation” by Ace McCloud is a very useful medical guide how to cure and prevent from constipation. We all know how hard and difficult is to dealing with constipation, especially when you children suffer from that illness.
McCloud provides very natural and medical solutions. The main reason is lack of fiber in our diet is leading to this nasty and painful disease. If you suffer for constipation for long period of time you should do some tests like X-rays or rectal exam. I find it very helpful to use Metamucil as a fiber supplement and drink senna tea or prune juice. It is just great solution not only for constipation but for loose weight.
Very interesting are yoga pose that support your stomach and bowels. McCloud listed much more medical drugs that cure constipation but better to ask your doctor which one is safe for you. Better to prevent than cure, so I really appreciate all advices.
I like the narrator - Joshua Mackey that reading with great pace and problems are very calmly and factual presented. His performance helps me to understand the issue and all of remedies during one session. Great and very helpful audiobook.
"Constipation problems be gone!"
Everyone has a little trouble with regularity now and again. For some it is a little more problematic than others. If you are on the more problematic end of the spectrum this is great resource for you. I found the information on the foods that cause constipation to be the most helpful, as attacking the problem before it's even a problem is probably the best solution. However, the diet and exercise help is also super helpful, and it's something I have revisited in the last few days for extra help.

"Great advice for staying regular!"
I never knew just how annoying constipation could be until I went several weeks suffering from it. In just a few days after following the advice in this audio I have noticed a huge difference! I have more energy, feel better and no more discomfort and pain! What worked for me was drinking prune juice in the morning and evenings, along with a large glass of fresh wayer and lemon juice and putting flax seeds in a blender was great as well. Lots of other great tips in the audio, be sure to experiment and find what works for you! Highly recommended!

"Prevent Constipation By Eating Right and Exercise"
"Constipation" is a very informative book that has many ideas and advice to help prevent constipation. It explains so many facts about the condition that I never knew about, and unfortunately, I suffer from IBS.
What I liked best about the story is the many different foods that you can eat to help prevent constipation. Ace suggests, "foods that are high in fiber, such as apples, bananas, beans, raspberries, blueberries, and whole grain breads."
Now, we all have to admit that constipation is not something that we enjoy discussing, but as usual, Joshua Mackey lends excitement to a book in which the condition is usually private. He speaks as if he understands the plight of many people who suffer from the condition.
One of the ideas that Ace brings to the table about how to help and prevent constipation, is through Yoga. It calming effect helps your body get rid of stress naturally. There are many different poses that you can try to aid in preventing your condition. They are: "Baddha Konasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Pavanamuktasana (wind relieving pose), Halasana, and Savasana.
These are crazy names, but by looking up videos on "YouTube," you can find out how to perform each one, and see what works best for you. Because I suffer from IBS, I would like to try using Yoga.
I heard a line from a television show, and I cannot remember which show, but the guy says, "I do not drink prune juice for the taste." My grandmother swore by prune juice if she was having problems, and she used to try to get me to drink some every morning. I couldn't stomach it, but maybe I should have given it a try.
