The Four Agreements by Don Miguel
Toltec Way- Dr. Susan Gregg
nothing really. I like self-help books to be short and to the point (under 2 hrs).
Nothing new, just reminders
I listen when at my convenience, just like anyone who wants to curl up and read a good book. I must be in the mood to focus, and follow the story and characters. If I miss anything, I can always rewind, which has become my best friend.
"good abridged version"
listening to simon slater and the encouraging suggestions really work.
The book isn't long and drawn out,-- short duration. I have to confess I looked up Simon Slater after listening to his narration of Wolf Hall and found the Self Confidence for Dummies and on sale..figure what the heck, I could use some help.. Very disappointed there are few offerings with his narration. I could listen to him narrate a quarterly report. Suprisingly I ended up really liking this book, too. I recommend it-- this is the abridged version; easy, light humor, positive and very encouraging. I have returned other self-help books. This one is good.
Everything about his performance. He has unique intonation and in this book it's rather soothing, smooth and upbeat.
I would like to hear more of his narrations. He is talented. Audible book companies: Hire him!
Save your money.... I bought this to help my son.... I didn't get one thing out of this....
