"Good for leadership"
Love when he compares boss with leader. The boss knows how it is done but the leader shows how it is done!
much wisdom is found in this book for dealing with people. great leadership tips too
If you're looking to examine new facets of yourself and human communication, this is an exceptionally insightful and challenging approach.
"Lots of good info"
opened my eyes to lots of things that I need to work on. It was a little struggle to finish as it didn't suck me in as some of the books lately have. It could have been because this book drew out some things that I realized I was doing wrong.
"All should read this."
It was very helpful to my growth , spiritual it was inlighting. I hope everyone can have the same experience that I had.
"John Maxwell simple is one of the best!"
Great book, probably too much focus on religion but i liked it, it must be readied, specially if you work with people!
I am biased to liking pretty much everything John Maxwell writes. This book is no exception. No matter what our walk in life, it is best that we be a "people person". This book serves as a reminder to be just that. Motivating people, loving difficult people, to becoming a person people trust, are all covered in brief chapters that can be read in the morning before you get out of bed or listened to during your commute.
"A must read"
I am a better person because of this book. And I will be a better team player.
"If I wanted gospel I'd go to church"
Way too many references to the bible and preachings. Don't buy unless you want that kind of thing.
"Worth another listen."
I thought it was good. I think the description should include that it is primarily for church leaders. I will definitely listen again and to more of Maxwell ' s books.
