Yes, absolutely. This book is full of information on how to reduce pain and heal yourself naturally. It will always be relevant for me as I suffer from multiple autoimmune conditions which cause daily pain and inflammation throughout my body. I have no doubt that this will be a great reference book for years to come.
I really appreciated the fact that the author is an arthritis sufferer - it made it easy for me to identify with her and helped me to stay hopeful about my future.
This book offers a ton of ways you can naturally reduce pain and inflammation as well as regaining and maintaining your mobility. You can do most (or all) of these things without medicine or in conjunction with medicine so it really is helpful no matter what your circumstances are. I have personally experienced some massive changes to my health since cutting out certain foods from my diet as suggested in this book. Also, I know how important it is to find a rest/exercise balance now and it's incredible how something so simple can have such dramatic effects. As I am only in my mid 30s, I have found living with chronic pain unbelievably difficult. But now that I'm taking measures to do what I can to make things easier, I feel like I've gained control over my pain for the first time in my life. And that feeling alone is priceless.
If you experience any type of inflammatory pain, I'd highly recommend this book.
Lovely book - liked it was very much no nonsense, no silly claims, just good actual advice and stuff I had never actually heard before, which surprised me as i thought i knew a lot on the subject. No actual overall cure exists for Arthritis and this book does not make any claims to that nature (unlike other books!) but this REALLY helped my family member with a lot of the symptoms. It relieved a lot of the pain and brought back some mobility. A very useful book.
I found it very useful, helped me (and a good friend) deal with a lot of issues and pretty severe symptoms which had been causing me a lot of pain (and lack of mobility) for quite some time.
Contained a lot of advice (90% of which worked) i had not read or heard of before which was great.
Basically, that it worked. Of course i am not cured, but i would say my symptoms are at least 50% better within a week which is amazing, having suffered for years.
I have recommended it to two friends and an arthritis support group i am a member of on Facebook.
It was not that sort of book, this is not fiction!
It was good quality, well recorded and produced, a pleasing voice to listen to.
Some of the diet stuff really moved me. Or i should clarify what I mean, when i found that a lot of the diet advice was WORKING, that really moved me. I finally feel like I have got some relief.
I have been unfortunate enough to have arthritis for 9 years. I have tried many many different things but i would say 50% of the advice i got from this book is having some help. I am not cured at all, and the book does not claim to cure people, but i definitely feel a lot better than I previously did.

Fantastic. I had been searching for something to help me deal with my arthritis. I expected to get something to just help a little but instead found this book which helped a LOT. It obviously did not completely cure men but it really did give me so much advice that i found easy to implement - so many of the tips have seen a massive improvement.
Very impressed with this book. I advise you to approach it with an open mind and just try the stuff. I can sincerely say 95% of it seems to have some sort of effect on me and in many ways i am a lot better. Very grateful to the author for writing this book!
This was an incredibly valuable book, not only for me but also for my brother. I have personally had arthritis for almost a decade now and this was the first time I felt I got advice that was a little different…and most importantly I really feel that a lot of the advice is actually working. I feel a little less pain and a good bit more mobility. I don't there is another book that you rid the pain in my wife because of arthritis as is this book.
I was able to understand the methods employed in the book only because of the voice of Annette Martin. She was calm and made me feel a whole lot better.
Arthritis has a cure, it could be limited.
I really learned a lot from this book, my wife is now able to walk and move freely. She's happy and that makes me happy so I give my hats off to the writer for writing such a wonderful book.
Yes for sure, I really liked Narrators way of narrating the audible, it was really clear to understand and voice was motivating.
I am Being just diagnosed with Arthritis, I knew nothing about disease, I didn't know what to expect and/or what path I should take in the way of treatment. I had a million questions that needed to be answered. This book is filled with information that helped me begin to understand what was happening to me and to get my life back in order. I am feeling so much better after I followed the advice discussed. It is definitely a "must have" if you have or know someone that has Arthritis. This Audible also deserves five stars.
I would say this is a great book if you are looking for not only easy to follow advice but also advice that is easy to put into action and most importantly actually works. My arthritis is not cured but it is a lot lot better and i can't ask for more than that really.

Really helpful, gave me practical advice that actually worked! Not full of the usual medical jargon. I began to see results almost immediately. It is not a miracle cure but it is definitely helping a lot and the narration is excellent.

No endless medical nonsense I do not understand, this book is just full of real advice. Nothing too “out there” but also very different things than I have been recommended before, 99% of which seemed to help me almost immediately. Really good book and I enjoyed the narration.

I would give this a 9/10 because it's a very helpful book. I do suffer from arthritis and these tips are something worth trying. Why not try something that is free and might help relieve pain!
I loved the 15 ways to start healing and the tiny little things that make a huge difference. I have had wear and tear arthritis from excessive sports related wear and tear as a teen and I live in pain daily. It gets worse with the change in the barometric pressure (like before a storm comes).
I loved how she read the book, she was easy to listen to and easy to pay attention. I would defiantly listen to other books she has read.
The easy exercise section was helpful because everything hurts including walking for me. My knees are messed up the most, I have had one surgery and I need 2 more (one on each knee). I hate taking pills, they make me loopy, ibuprophen only helps so much. The information in this book can help you cope with your arthritis in a healthy way without being hopped up on pills all the time.
It bothers me when people tell me I am to young to have arthritis. I am 33 and I have arthritis through out my entire body. There are over 30 different kinds of arthritis, and a newborn baby can suffer from arthritis.
"Just what I needed"
The reason why I got this audiobook is because it is written by a genuine arthritis sufferer and not from someone who just googled the material to make a book. I am practising the author's advice for a few weeks now, and I already see some improvements. Easy exercises are very beneficial and I found some new info about nightshade vegetables that I didn't know before. Exercises and eating properly are the best way to change your life and start feeling better. I highly recommend this audiobook to all the arthritis sufferers!
"It gets better"
Yes I would. There is a lot to learn from. Even though I took notes while reading, I would like to listen to the book again to better understand some of the tips described. Like the author said, everyone needs to identify his or her own body and its unique triggers before examining which tips yield the best results for him. There’s enough to go around for everyone of all ages looking for some relief from the pains of arthritis.
Dealing with a family member with arthritis gave me a direct view into the life of sufferers from the disease. Helping them do things when they have flare ups is very important and managing the pain is a daily struggle. The book stresses the most important thing by saying that natural treatments may not have immediate effects and these may also differ from person to person.
In my own case, my aunt wasn’t the type that wanted to exercise so walking for about 20 minutes helped. Also after keeping a diary for about two months, we could identify that she always got her worst flare ups when the weather was cold. Keeping warm was easy in the summer, during the winter, what helped the most was getting good sleep. By switching her mattress from hard foam to memory foam with goose down pillows, her quality of sleep improved. Better sleep meant better rest for her joint and therefore less pain.
You see, sometimes all it just takes is forming good habits that helps you take better care of your body and that’s what the book is all about. A practical guide to managing and reducing the effects of arthritis from someone who successfully achieved good results from forming good habits.
The emotional and logistics support which the book talked about are also very important. By replacing a bath tub with a walk-in shower, we reduced the risk of falling in the bathroom. Swapping out tiles for a wool shaggy rug also made sure the floors were warmer and softer to touch, less jarring when she walked equals less pain. People living with OA also need us to be rays of sunshine in their lives.
The importance of eating healthy cannot be overstated. Omega-3 and magnesium supplements are also important because of their natural anti-inflammatory properties. Combined with vegetables such as broccoli, bok choy, cauliflower and cabbage, the body immune system is stronger and better equipped to deal with flare ups and maintain a better state of wellbeing.
The book also recommends maintaining a balance between resting too much and exercising too much. I think in this case, finding activities that ensure mobility without undue aggravation is important. In my aunt’s case, it was helping the kids get ready for school in the morning. About an hour of making lunch boxes, going over assignments and dressing them up for school helped her stay loose without over-exerting her joints.
In conclusion, the book stresses the importance of following the doctor’s advice religiously, taking care of what one eats, knowing and respecting one’s body and also keeping a positive disposition as a natural way of managing arthritis. The book has made more informed about helping arthritis sufferers and being a better provider of emotional support. I think most arthritis sufferers need us to be more empathetic of their plight but more importantly be able to practically assist them to live better lives. Not just by taking them for doctors’ appointments but being a supportive part of their lives.
Some people need a walking or exercise partner more than they need a shoulder to cry on. The book has made me better understand arthritis and how to manage it if I ever find myself suffering in the future or have a loved one suffering from it.

There’s not a specific portion of this audible which I would say is not helpful, Complete guide is a like a gift from author to guys lie us suffering from such disease, which In fact I realize after reading this book is not a disease at all and how to overcome my pain. Complete audio book is incredible and they way it’s been narrated it helps in overcome all of your pain and listening to that soft voice let go of all of your pain and brings an incredible relief in short time.

This amazing audio book turned out to be exclusively useful and assisting. The writer talks about her individual experience; something I prefer rather than just choosing pieces of stuff from the internet as many authors do! I loved how the writer gives lots of options that you can use and find the one appropriate for you. For example, rather than dictating which foods to eat, she shows on how to determine those affecting you adversely hence make informed choices. I don’t know whether to call it miracle or some sort of black magic, but listening to her voice immediately makes me realize there’s no pain in my back. It’s flawless. Very effective and must buy audible.

"An Insightful and Beneficial Testimony"
The contents of this wonderful audio-book make listening to it quite remarkable. Specifically, I found the 15 helpful ways to cure arthritis easy to apply.
There was not any character really. However, I love the style and voice of the narrator, Annette Martin; it was not monotonous. During the narrative, she accentuated the important parts pretty well.
There were no scenes. But I liked the fact that the author recommended doing simple exercises to treat arthritis rather using pills frequently.
Yes. The pain from arthritis can be quite difficult to bear. Hence, the 15 tips, in addition to other smaller tips, are life-saving means of battling pain and discomfort from arthritis.

Most books in this genre are full of useless nonsense with no actual genuine advice on how to deal with the problems that suffering from arthritis can present - thankfully this book was different! NO actual cure exists for arthritis but this book gives really good and interesting advice on how to dramatically relieve yourself of the pain and live a more normal life.
