Many times infidelity is the death of a relationship - but an affair doesn't have to mean the end. Realistic ways of coping with pain, restoring self-esteem, and rebuilding trust and intimacy are available for the first time on audio in this guide by Dr. Janis Abrahms Spring.
Dr. Spring is one of the few clinical psychologists in the US who specializes in infidelity. She offers original and proven strategies to those seeking guidance, sympathy, and solutions, laying to rest blame and recrimination and focusing instead on recovery.

"...the most comprehensive and balanced book I have ever read on the subject. It is a 'must' for any couple who has experienced the violation of trust as a result of an affair." (Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., author of Getting the Love You Want)

"OW vs. Lover"
I really liked this book outside of the Other Woman/Man being constantly called the "lover" Maybe it's just me, but I find it a bit maddening cause no matter how bad your situation is, that other person sought selfish gratification along with your spouse/partner over your needs. There is nothing loving about any of it.
I felt the author wasn't clear enough or loud enough in her narration but I felt the overall was good and sound advice. I am an angry hurt spouse, and I personally feel victimized by this whole issue. I don't know what will happen with my relationship at this point, but this was a good read.
"audio v book"
although content of the book is very informational, extremely helpful and eye opening, the audio version does not include everything that is found in the book.
"Very helpful book."
This book is not only great for comforting you when you struggle to understand all you are going through, but it gives helpful solutions for healing and repair. Good book.
"This is a great book for both parties."
This is a great book for both parties.
All the books I kept finding were for the victim of the affair, but not for the one who had the affair. This book is for both.
I enjoyed this book as much as anyone can when it's necessary to read such things. It was insightful, explanatory, consoling, and therapeutic. I listened to it twice within the week I received it (I have a long commute). I would recommend it to anyone that finds them self suddenly in this situation. The author explains both the mental and physical results and recovery of an affair. Very objective and informative.
"finally a complete on the nose book"
this book is your bible lf you.are serious about giving your failed marriage a second chance discusses all the different phases that are experienced from living with an unfaithful straying partner
narrator was great. very helpful and supporting. I would recommend this book if you were betrayed.
helped me to realize where we went wrong. how to possibly be able to forgive.
This is a great reference! It addresses many of the concerns I've had in trying to heal my relationship after the affair.
"would not recommend"
Very poor & boring narrator. Minimal direction on forgiveness. Majority of the information was common sense,
