Summary
Stephanie Cole (Doc Martin), Benedict Cumberbatch, and Roger Allam (The Thick of It) star in the complete second series of the hit sitcom about the pilots of a tiny charter airline for whom no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult.
Run by the forbidding divorcée Carolyn Knapp-Shappey (an unfortunate marriage, namewise, but in Carolyn's opinion, marginally better than Carolyn Shappey-Knapp), her two pilots are the smooth, experienced, and almost-certainly-fired-by-a-big-airline-for-all-around naughtiness Douglas, and struggling, almost competent Martin. All-round help is provided by Carolyn's near-idiot son, Arthur.

Cabin pressure - a laugh out loud listen
Would you consider the audio edition of Cabin Pressure: The Complete Series 2 to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, but I can assure you the audio is VERY funny.
What other book might you compare Cabin Pressure: The Complete Series 2 to, and why?
None, it is in a league of its own.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
All the characters are played by different people and their voices convey their characters beautifully.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, yes, yes. Although I don't have time to do that, this is an audio that I could easily listen to time and time again in one sitting.

Cabin Pressure is an absolute gem of comedy. I had not heard of the author until I joined audio, but I am now a big fan of Cabin Pressure and will try some of John's other work.

Another Winner from John Finnimore!
This 2nd series is as excellent as the first. Lots of laughs from a team of superb actors with perfectly tuned voices and impeccable timing! John Finnimore's dialogues are witty and clever with seemingly throw-away remarks inevitably returning with hillarious, twisted consequences. The theme of a different destination in each episode is just, as Arthur would say, BRILLIANT! Can't wait to buy 3rd series!

Definitely - it is a tight script, well acted, great timing and just very, very funny.
