I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma's boy? Check, check and check.
Now I can't stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It's just a harmless crush, right? It's not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It's not like I'm going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he's the doctor. Shoot. Me.
But what if, for once, the man I've had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

"HOT & FUNNY all in one book!!!"
I really enjoyed this book! I practically stayed up all night finishing it! I loved the honesty between these two! They had a very hot but also fun relationship!! I found myself laughing out loud at 3 am! This author did a great job at giving us as fairly short story (not short but not very long either) that didn't feel like an insta- love, was crazy hot and still gave us a great book with a complete story! That's not easy to find these days in a romance book! I'll be listening to more by the author for sure! Can't wait for Right!
Narration was great, even if I do love a dual narrated book, Erin Mallon did a great job on both parts. Great Choice!
"Loved This One With a Few WTF"
I really did enjoy this book. With a small exception. Sophie was really childish sometimes. She would always check herself on it but it was annoying. The Nukie scenes were very detailed and I loved that I would have liked more of Luke's side of the story. The book would jump around a bit but it's Very Enjoyable
"21 Yr Old College Sr. meets 36 Yr Old Gyno"
Sophie is a college senior working at a coffee shop. The majority of customers are professionals since the shop is off the college path. Every Tuesday Luke a hot-as-heck professional always in designer suits comes in for coffee. Sophie drools over Luke every time she sees him and he always addresses her by name. There's an obvious attraction but Luke doesn't act on it.
Sophie has an appointment at the college clinic to get birth control pills. The gynecologist who walks into the exam room is non other than Luke. The exam is very funny with Luke maintaining his medical professionalism and Sophie's curiosity of what he's thinking and how she's reacting.
The next time she sees Luke is at the hospital when her grandfather has a minor accident. Then she sees him again while she's on a date that would have been devastating if Luke had not interfered. This is their story......
The story starts out really good but then towards the end it's rushed. Not to give a spoiler but after Sophie's accident there should have been a few more chapters on their relationship instead of doing a quick wrap-up in the epilogue. I also think Sophie wouldn't have come across as immature sometimes if she had told Luke about his ex-fiance`s antics instead of whining to him about their past engagement. I would have loved for Luke to tear into his ex.
I have to mention Sophie's friend and room mate, Everly. This girl is hilarious. She doesn't have a filter when it comes to talking about sex. Her story is the next book.
I don't like to criticize authors because I'm in admiration of their writing ability. Jana Aston did very well for her debut.
I don't usually purchase books under 7 hours but at 6.40 hours with Erin Mallon I made an exception. Erin is one of my favorite performers and I love her male voice.
Is it worth a credit/$$ Yes... if your not too critical about missing some detail and rushed endings.
"A hot doctor with a dirty mouth? YES, PLEASE!!!"
I absolutely loved this book!!! It's like the author pulled my greatest fantasy from my head, put it in this book and made it absolutely amazing! Good Lord! The sex is HOT as hell, spare panties an absolute must! The laugh out loud moments will have you in tears. The drama will have you going through the emotions along with Sophie! You.Will.Absolutely.Swoon. for Luke!!!
I can't say enough great things about this book, you just have to read it for yourself! An Absolute Must Read!!!
I can't wait to see more from this author and would love to see Everly's story!
Erin Mallon is brilliant as narrator!!!
I loved this listen so much that I just wished it was longer and I could live in this world longer. It had just the right amount of angst, humor, alpha, sexy time and romance. I will be waiting on pins and needles for the rest of the series to be released.
Erin Mallon has always been one of my favorite narrators. I always had a little bit of an issue with a repetitive tone but she completely lost that in this book. She was absolute perfection and I am so glad she was chosen for this role.
"Hot, Hilarious & Superb Narration - 10 Stars!"
Jana Aston, where have you been all my life? This is the kind of audiobook that makes me giddy when an author dives into audio for the first time and absolutely KILLS it in the best way. Wrong hit the ground running and has had me thinking about since I listened the first time...four days ago....and I've already listened a second time. Is it that good? YES.
The story of the awkward Sophie (a Penn college student) and serious Luke (a much older doctor) is just fantastic. Their true beginning has to be one of the most awkwardly hilarious situations EVER WRITTEN. The telling of their story from beginning to end had me laughing hysterically (to the point of needing to physically cover my mouth so I wasn't heard in my office) and needing a very cold shower.
As for the narration? Erin Mallon is a voice acting rock star. I've loved many of her narrations but the combination of awkward, hysterical, sexy situations is what I think she performs to perfection. The fact that her male voices are on point as well is a HUGE benefit, as it's not always the case with female narrators.
All in all, is it #worththecredit? If you are looking for a low drama listen with perfect narration that will keep you smiling (and....excited?) for days - this is IT. Worth two credits! Or better yet, save the second credit for Right (Everly's book) because you will want it IMMEDIATELY! These are interconnected standalones, but Everly's appearances in Wrong will make you desperate for Right!
"Holy hot sauce batman!!! I'll take Dirty talking doctor for 50 Alex"
Wheeeeew what a great book! Is it hot in here? A lot of authors have a hard time mixing comedy and romance. It's either hot and mildly funny, or hilarious and mildly hot. This one is both. Laugh out loud funny, and better keep some spare panties handy hot! I LOVED it and have already persuaded 2 people into buying it in the past 20 minutes.
A 21 year old college student with her v card meets an older, super sexy, dirty talking gynecologist and so begins a tale of two people who are so wrong, yet so right for each other!!!
"love it!!! funny juicy... couldn't stop listening"
Couldn't stop listening to this book!!! Love it!!! it's funny and juicy all at the same time!!!
"innocent meets wisdom"
this is my first time listening to this author I thought you did a really great job it was funny. I also thought the narrator did a great job of doing them male and female voice very believable the story overall was cute sweet innocence and a little bit of drama but overall great will definitely listen to this book again
Although I am an avid audiobook listener, I'm usually wary and have to eyeball a book for a while before I actually buy it. On this one, just trust me & push buy!!! Definitely worth a credit. Definitely one you can listen to over and over again!! I also have to put n, that although there were lots of "scenes", I never once sighed, rolled my eyes heavenward & thot that they should give it a rest like some of the other books out there. They have great communication & I got TONS of housework done listening to this sucker!! Quality characters, too! After I savor/re-listen to this one a few more times, I'm definitely going to tip-toe over & buy her other book next. Thank u, J.A. My house looks cleaner than it has n 4ever!! Lol Awesome book! :)
