Publisher's Summary

Love can come in surprising ways but so can danger.

Greg Jones, mechanic for the Chosen Few MC, isn't looking for a relationship. After burying his beloved wife years ago, he expects to spend the rest of his life alone. But Melanie Wilford, his niece's hot, brilliant teacher, makes him hunger for things he'd long ago forgotten.

Melanie thinks teaching seventh grade is plenty exciting enough - she's not the thrill-seeking type. An outlaw biker, even one as hunky as Greg, is not the kind of man she's imagined herself with. Despite his affiliation with the club, she finds herself slowly lowering her guard with his gentlemanly courtship.

Just as things start to heat up between the unconventional couple, Melanie and her students, including Greg's niece, are taken hostage and forced into the desert by a heavily-armed psychotic. The Chosen Few are ready to ride, but can Greg and his outlaw brothers track them in time, or will tragedy destroy his newfound chance at happiness and shatter his heart for good?

    Story
    "Not quite an MC book"

This book follows Greg who owns his own motorbike repair shop and works primarily for the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club. Greg lost his wife years earlier and has no thoughts of a serious relationship until he meets his niece's teacher, Melanie, and he immediately feels drawn to her. Melanie has reservations over a couple of her 12 year old students and decides she wants to meet their role models, she is not prepared for sexy biker Greg to pull up at the school on his motorbike, but she is intrigued, she's never been in a motorbike before. They spend time together going on a couple of dates and bike rides, and when Melanie and the children she is taking on a school trip are taken hostage she turns to the only person she believes can save them, Greg. I listened to this book on audible, and even though the narrator had a gorgeous voice, it felt like he was just reading the book out loud as opposed to really feeling the emotions in the story. At times the story was a little rushed and clichéd, I felt like the characters were just going through the motions and I didn't particularly feel the chemistry between them. The story was interesting, although I did feel as if the mechanics of motorbikes was focusses on more than it needed to be, as too was Melanie's teaching career. I would have liked to know more about Melanie and Greg's relationship and interaction. I loved reading about the two main children, Carly and Brian, and loved their interactions and storyline. I received a copy of this as an audiobook from the author at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.

Normally a fan of Nessa books but this one not so good sorry,

An anti-establishment school dad, who's rants went Far too long a sweet heroine who waffles and, didn't get any more interesting as the story went on,

a first date where neither connect in any way other than in comfortable silence if you like an interesting plot with some character development ,not for me and the narrator Nooooo
Her last book was so good this not so much

    Story
"Mild MC - But Still Good!"

I'm a big MC romance fan! I love the dark, intense, gritty, raw side of the MC world, and the hot alpha bikers! However, compared to other MC stories I've listened too, Wrecked is on the mild side of the MC world. It has language, and a tough biker who's been to prison, but the overall plot felt more like a romantic suspense.

After listening to book one in the Chosen Few MC series, I was ready to dive right into Wrecked, but felt the plot was not as intense or gritty compare to Cursed. Greg Jones is a mechanic who's suffered loss and has been to prison. He's focusing on building a life, and working on bikes. When he meets his niece's teacher, he's immediately attracted to her; however, their attraction was on the lukewarm side, and took a longer to develop.

Melanie is a dedicated and caring teacher, who notices one of her student's has a troubled home life. When she tries to reach out to this student, it back fires on her and her class. Greg, and his MC come to their rescue.

The narration was great. Andy has a deep gravely voice which is perfect for MC characters. I did not use headphones while listening to this story; however, I could see how his voice may be too deep at times for headphones to hear clearly.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and overall I enjoyed the story. While the plot was not as intense, or as a gritty as other MC's, it was well thought out and flowed naturally. Listening to this story, gave me a break from the darker MC's in my collection, and helped balance my collection.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was a very tame MC book. It was on the slow side and kind of boring in the beginning.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Grease Princess, who does not love a Grease Princess

    Any additional comments?

This was very short read, very tame on MC. It was enjoyable.

    "Wrecked"

Excellent story. Well written and thought out. The story will grab you from the beginning and won't let go until the very end. Hold on for the ride of your life and prepare for some hot sex. Recommend for adults who enjoy some hot sex scenes and hotter biker men.

Andy E. Ross does an excellent narration for this story, until the last chapter or two. There are a few areas where words are repeated. I really enjoyed listening to his voice(s), he is easy to understand.

    "Light enjoyable MC story"
    Any additional comments?

Light MC story. I liked this story better than the first book in the series. It flowed better. Great book for when you want a dose of bad boy and MC but not all the intense drama, violence and heartache. This story has a balance of romance, family, suspense and humor.

Even though this is the second book in the series it can definitely be read as a stand alone.

Opposites attract. Never judge a book by it's cover. Greg isn't what Melanie expects when her student Carly talks about her biker uncle.
    Carly was a great character.

Andy E Ross does a really good job with the narration. What a voice Deep sexy rough just how you want your bad boy biker to sound. Not the best female voices though. But with a voice that deep, it's got to be hard to do female voices. The volume of narration does get annoying, starts out strong then fades as a chapter goes on. Still an enjoyable listen.

Repeated lines, chapter 6 towards the end, chapter 7, chapter 14, numerous words or lines repeated.

    Any additional comments?

When Greg meets Melanie, his niece's teacher sparks fly.

Greg starts dating Melanie but Melanie and her Class are taken hostage by a mad man.

Will Greg and his biker brothers be able to save the hostages in time?

Overall, This book was good, better than the first book. The characters are well written as well as the story line.

I liked how at first glance the two main characters looked like they had nothing in common.

I look forward to book three in this series.

Andy E. Ross did really well with the narration, I'm looking for more books narrated by him..

"Full complex characters great story line"

I enjoyed this storyline. I thought how the author handled the preconceptions "everyday" people have of MCs was fantastic. I also like how the author handles Melanie's occupation as a teacher. She really brings out the love and concern that teachers should have for their pupils. And Greg as a self assured alpha who cares about his MC and his family. And don't even get me started on the Grease Princess

    "My Kind of MC Read!"

Nice read! It was much less gritty than most MC books and I liked that. I'm not a huge fan of the seamier nature of many MC books. This one was perfect! The main characters had great chemistry and the story was satisfying. I thought the narrator did a good job although his volume wasn't consistent. I kept having to adjust the volume and go back to "relisten" to segments. Still, his voice was great and I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

I totally loved the story. I do prefer a bit more grit and a lot more peripheral imagery (which makes a longer book) but nonetheless, it kept me listening. The narrator had the perfect gravely voice but the pitch kept diving to where I had a hard time hearing/understanding the last part of sentences and/or a character's entire ditty. But I always understood what was going on.

I didn't read the first book and wouldn't waste a credit on a 3.5 hour book, anyway so I'm glad Wrecked works well as a stand-alone.
All in all, a fun listen. Thank you Nessa Conner for allowing me to review your book!
