Abel Jin and Delilah Johnson have lived their lives with holes in their souls, yearning for something they don't understand. Until one night Delilah is in mortal danger, and a man who's otherworldly strong and supernaturally fast saves her. Delilah is then cast into a world where fiction comes to life in the form of Abel, her destined mate, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who claims her at first breath as his. But Abel knows the danger isn't done. He's dreamed for centuries that his mate will perish, and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
For Delilah, she's coping not only with a fantasy come to life but also with a mingling of very different families. Not to mention she has on her hands a man who doesn't understand his true nature and has lived his long life thinking he's a monster. Abel and Delilah together fill the hole that has been clawing at them for decades. But, finally finding each other, it also tips their destinies as the last of The Three. They must unite with the other destined lovers, who, with Abel and Delilah, are fated to save the world. Or die trying.

I loved this audio book! I've listened to all three and I really enjoyed the first, enjoyed the second and loved this one, the third in the series. It was action packed and all the characters were fully involved. I enjoyed getting to know Uri (?) too.
"I stuck with this series and I'm glad"
So I had a very hard time reading this series the first two books were too Alpha male or dominant/submissive.
I enjoy books where women understand and know themselves their strong but they're caring. I didn't get this from the first two books but I still enjoyed them.
This book was amazing I could see it being a made-for-TV movie it was exciting it was heartfelt I loved both Delilah and Able. I must admit that I do kind of enjoy the whole Armageddon doing doomsday storyline. With a good winning out in the end.
This last book made the first two in the series worth listening to.
"Brilliant and unforgettable!"
My biggest complaint about this series; there are only three.
Kristen Ashley writes the best romances I've ever read. They're filled with humor, sass, depth of feeling and meaning that will make you laugh and cry, adventure, mayhem, and most of all, leave you wishing it wasn't over yet.
This series has all of that, along with vampires and werewolves far better than any other fiction. Take a chance. You'll be glad you did as you listen again and again.
This was a satisfying end to the series. A lot of loose ends were tied up and interesting new characters introduced. I only have one major issue with the story.... Yuri should have gotten his own story; at least a novella. I wanted more of him and Aurora.
"Satisfying end to this trilogy."
Erin, abby, and Stella's performances were dead on and enhanced this novel nicely.
The end of this trilogy was satisfying, which was no small feat with a story of this scope. I'd like to read more paranormal novels from Kristen Ashley, for sure.
"Nasty, Raunchy "
I did not like the raunchy sex scenes between Abel and Delilah. More "F" words than a Steven King novel that could be titled F@#*. Too over the top for me. I fast forwarded through much of the book to get the the story line completion of the first two books. With that said, the conclusion was not very gratifying. That could be a result of my less than thrilled attitude about the "biker bitch " story line.
"enjoyable but painful"
it was cheesetastic. it was entertaining and I couldn't stop listening, but there were certain cringe worthy moments like when the main love interests kept repeating the title of the book in 1000 ways.... they were wild and free, they were wild but not free, they were wild and at last free .... oh god please stop with that. but overall I quite liked the story and the sex scenes were good.
That the story picked up well from the previous book.
Keep me up to well after midnight each night, had to know what was headed their way!
Keeps me riveted and did an excellent job of the various voices.
Didn't laugh or cry but did chuckle and smile from ear to ear a lot.
Unfortunately, K.A. Kept to her typical trail. By the 3rd book she always makes the sex scenes way, way to vivid and exsplict! I'm all about a good vision, but when every single time the word "c*nt*, f*ck, etc. is way over the top! Too bad as the story was intriguing but skipped through much of the book for the above mentioned. F bombs here and there are fine, but not its as if she just discovered the word and is 10 years old. Sorry>>>>>
"Main Character Narrator disappointing"
Have enjoyed the series. Some of the narrating in this book was not so good. Abel was made to sound like a teenage boy, and occasionally I felt like the narrator lived above a night club. There is an undercurrent of noise like muffled loud music that got distracting at times. I've heard worse, but the first two were narrated so well I'd gotten accustomed to really good narrating in this series. Worth the listen just know the preformance isn't the same.
Abby Craden and Stella Bloom for sure.
"The best of the series"
This was the best book of the series. I liked how there was time spent with all three couples and other favorite characters. The story had a good moral message; that good, love and hope will overcome. There were a couple of statements made that came across as a little corny but, the rest of the story was good enough to overlook them. As always, any Kristen Ashley novel is well worth the credit and this series is worth the cost of the THREE.

"THE FINAL PAIRING.. LEADING TO THE ULTIMATE BATTLE"
In this last book of the series we see the final set of lovers in the prophesied 'Three' who will (hopefully) overcome evil in the forthcoming War where the Human race is threatened with capture, death and enslavement at the hands of a bloodthirsty power hungry Vampire who's ultimate goal is to take over the world. Abel is a lone half-breed Vampire/Werewolf who's never ever seen or sniffed another paranormal and so he thinks he's a monster. And yet he has a heart of gold and was adopted centuries ago into a loving family who, through the decades, have all taken their commitment of loving, supporting and caring for Abel as a great honor rather than a commitment. But Abel always felt something was missing in his life.... and that something turns out to be a woman he saves in a brutal attack one night.
All her life Delilah was looking for something... something that she couldn't name - but as soon as the terrifying yet handsome, sexy, mysterious and scarred man proclaims her as his Delilah somehow knows this to be true... and that she's found her missing piece. However, what neither of them knew was the future they'd have as one part of the Three - or the tests they'd have to overcome, the twists they'd encounter, the shocks and surprises that lay in wait and the people they'd meet along the way as they learnt of the Prophesy and the part they must play.
This was a long long series at nearly 55 hours... but what a journey it was and it culminated in a televised paranormal good vs bad showdown that was the fulfilment of a Prophecy that united lovers, built friendships, held secrets, formed unbreakable bonds and ended in deaths, destruction and tears. There were multiple POV's as Abel and Delilah were joined by Vampire Lucien and his mate Leah and Werewolf King Callum and his Queen Sonia, there was a whole list full of interesting secondary characters, touching romances, lots of sex, passion and a heartfelt message within the final chapters. Great narration by all.
Worth a credit? There were times when I felt this story was never going to end... and then when it did I was left having to say goodbye to characters whose love stories have entertained me, to a cast of characters who's strength, support and undying love for one another saved the world and to a series that I've enjoyed and hopelessly fallen in love with. Thank you Kristen Ashley for these memorable, remarkable, imaginative and creditworthy books.
